Why Idaho Student Murders Suspect Bryan Kohberger’s Case Was Delayed

Accused student murderer Bryan Kohberger appeared in Latah County court Thursday for a status hearing regarding the next steps in the Idaho murders case. Kohberger’s public defender requested a delay in the case, asking the judge to schedule his preliminary hearing for June to give the defense time to build their case. The Law&Crime Network’s Angenette Levy breaks it down with criminal defense attorney Lara Yeretsian.

  1. Sheesh I can’t handle this lady speak. She’s horrible. Got a boost from the Avery case where she had no experience, and hasn’t seemed to get any since. There’s way better coverage in this case else where.

  2. Absolutely ridiculous not to look first at the two living unscathed room mates. I have said for years and will not change; any person who walks out of a house unscathed, where multiple brutal murders have taken place, IS your killer. That's why they're putting this on a shelf for six months, so everyone will forget. Because they spent 8 hours cleaning up, and only one footprint was found. Guess where? Right in front of homeslice's door.

  3. Hope justice prevails!!!! Don't know how these defence attorneys can sleep at night! Takes a rare breed that's for sure. Why don't yous focus on getting justice and be positive instead of what could get him off! It's sick. Families been through enough. Laws and justice system are a joke!!!

  4. As we had dogs (at times we had 3 at the same time) in our family (and partly still have) 🤔 I wonder: They say that the homicides occurred between 4:00 a.m. and 4:25 (CNN). The dog was barking at 4:17 (Daily Mail UK). The dog's barking has been captured as a audio recording by the camera at Kinga Road 1112 (the neighbors house). Now the reason I wonder 🤔: No dog starts barking when a stranger leaves. A dog barks right from the start especially when there are screams. Also I wonder when the dog has been Kaylee's why should it start to bark, when the murderer is in Kernodles room ? The murderer has allegedly started with Kaylee & Madison on the third floor and the went down to the second floor and killed Xana and bf before he passed Dylan. Why should the dog start barking AFTER the murderer was done with Kaylee? If he (the murderer) started around 4:00 with Kaylee then the dog should have barked at 4:00. Not 20 minutes later, when another person the dog had less relationship with, has been murdered.

  5. 2 Thoughts! What if the sheath doesn't match the size of the knife wounds?
2nd is, what if there is another knife murder with in a 500 mile range, in the mean time? This would turn this case upside down and will create reasonable doubt….

  6. The lawyer here hasn’t read the PCA thoroughly. There are sufficient cell towers in the Pullman-Moscow area that LE was able to determine which side of the state line BK’s phone was on. The resolution is very good. I wouldn’t want her as my primary defense attorney, thank you. Her voice would make me request the needle by about Day 3.

  7. Don’t need evidence piled too the moon, just the definitive absolutes that are undeniable, If defense has proved those to be faulty, then so be it, maybe it’s the wrong suspect, If undisputed facts of guilt is presented, then he has no defense, and needs to be strung up before dark!

  8. Who is the man who said 'It's ok I'm going to help you'? If it was the suspected murderer why did he say that? The words don't gel with the action. So if the words were spoken who said them? Could it be a man unknown who hurriedly left? Were there two men in the house at that time?

  9. Hey !

So I have a theory of these killings.
I believe ETHAN was the target here NOT the girls and here’s why.

So the first victims killed were the two girls sleeping together in the third floor …
Then it was ETHAN and Madison in the second floor.

Is it possible that the killer thought that Ethan was on the third floor and then after entering the room realized he wasn’t and ended up killing the two girls that caught him in the room??

Then went down stairs to Ethan and Madison’s room where he finally killed Ethan and Madison ??

While in the room the words were heard “ I’m going to help you “ could the killer have said that to Madison before killing her in regards to SAVING HER FROM ETHAN?? and then she fell on the floor trying to get away which caused the thud and that’s when the killer killed her ?????

Which would explain why when he walked by the survivor he didn’t kill her but left …

    He had accomplished his goal

And that was to kill Ethan.

    What do you think ???

  10. Why is Idaho court wasting victim family’s time, police energy, and forensic work? Why didn’t law enforcement just check Mr. Kohberger’s DNA? This is the easiest, effective way to judge if he is the murder.
