I have just watched an interview with a former FBI agent, a lawyer, a crime journalist and since poor DM has been unfairly scrutinised one thing occured to me – he went in that house to kill but did not expect to run into Ethan, who unfortunately lost his life. But I suspect that threw his plan out completely. Hie has a hatred of women. So his 'perfect murder' scenario had been spoiled by the presence of an unknown male.. I am sure he has killed before.
