A 22-year-old Iowa man faces three first-degree murder charges for the deaths of his father, mother and sister. Prosecutors allege Alexander Jackson shot all three family members on June 15, 2021, before calling the police to report that a masked intruder shot his family. Jackson denied the allegations but told authorities “his father recently told him to get a job or move out of the home,” the criminal complaint said. Prosecutors believe the shootings were done execution style and a coverup plan was in place by Jackson.

This is discouraging…. disgraceful.
This family was murdered, and this may be their only part in the justice system. There should be time for public presentation of as many photos of the family as it takes.
Imagine you are a defendant, and your family was murdered. You were charged and are innocent (I'm presuming your innocence)… would you have much confidence the prosecution is going to try very hard to find the person/s responsible? That these officers are going to admit they were wrong and go searching?
I wouldn't be very confident. So if I was on trial, I would want my chance to show my family because I know this is the only chance I will get to publicly do it. The victims.
I don't know anything about this case other than what I have seen, and what I do know is this has been a very wobbly wheel of justice so far.
I hope it is realigned by the end.

I wish the state would have explore search history of deceased family members? Did they have concerns about defendant? Did the sister’s boyfriend have knowledge of any family dynamics going on?
A persons cell use can tell so much about a person.
I think he did it…the reloading of the gun and the uniqueness of the gun coupled with inconsistencies in the Defendant's 911 call versus how he reports the details later about "family members shot" versus alluding to his dad possibly shot to then going to his sister's door….the likely evidence of where the defendant was shot versus where he stated he was shot ….and the blood trail not apparent going back to his room but apparent going out to the living room area…finger prints and mysterious lack of ring footage from the back of the house leads me to lean this way.
I wish the prosecution had more evidence as nothing is concrete in terms of definitively showing that he did this…but in terms of enough evidence to convince I see it. I wish I had more faith in the truthfulness of Investigator Bosenberger related to the uniqueness of the gun but he wasn't extremely convincing on cross. He wavered on things that he should've just submitted to at times. If the other investigator spoke of the uniqueness of the gun it may have convinced me more that the jury would get it right. If anyone saw this let me know?
If I was on the jury I could vote guilty…..would I feel great about it? No…because I'm basing it more on trusting the investigators opinions and inconsistency in statements on the 911 call which is not a clear indication always.

I am sure the Defence Attys heard his story multiple times,,,..and said,

This judge is a sunny presence. He makes this grim trial less unbearable somehow. It is getting inexorably closer to sentencing. You could feel it was winding down in this day's proceedings. Alex must be feeling very worried as time runs out.
