Bodycam footage showing Memphis police brutally beating Tyre Nichols is scheduled to be released Friday night. “This was wrong, this was criminal,” Tennesse Bureau of Investigation director David Rausch said at a press conference about the deadly incident. The bottom line is when the child showed up at school without a parent? It should have been sent to the office to stay until a parent showed up to pick it up. That was the IEP requirements. It is meant to be followed.

It's too much listening to these people talk about "proper policing." How about some self reflection? But NO WAY would the system itself ever look inward like that. Always carrying on as if there is no culpability, complicity, or role at all in outcomes like these. There is no prevention efforts whatsoever.
