The lack of the accountability from the parents themselves is baffleling but what I can say is that they do need to be arrested for child to remain a ward of the state
Why was superintendent let go but not the admin?
1) Kid needs to be institutionalized ASAP because parents obviously can't care responsibly for this kid.
2) Parents should be charged first with willful neglect.
3) School should be charged second with dereliction of duty.
Teachers should have just called 9-1-1 when they knew there was a gun present.
I would have jump kicked thats kids face.
There will be a day when problematic children from problematic families won't have access to public education. It will completely eliminate the "teach me if you can handle me" attitude against teachers for good. The new motto will be "I won the privilege of free education because of my purest humbleness, gratitude, and respect for teachers".
So the parents couldn't get to class but the gun did? I hope the parents were named, too.
Don't get excited. The district will settle lickety split.
Teachers should have called the police when school administrators ignored gun warnings or were unable to find gun.
And why do we still blame guns…. it is people of any age and why would you want your school secured with guards and metal dedectors… like we do court houses…. kids are not that important to you?
The names of those school administrators should be published, so they do not work at any school of the world ever again.
One thing I'm confused on… maybe someone in the "know" can help me. Everyone complained to "the administrator". To me I'm thinking the on site Principal or Vice Principal (that's what I know them as)… but the Superintendent is the one who was fired. To me a Superintendent is a district person who sits in a large district office somewhere. Akin to the CEO of McDonalds is in a big office building somewhere else and isn't the manager of the store someone would be going to and making immediate decisions. And I haven't heard of any on-site principal (administrator) being fired or even talked about. Am I missing something here?

What is a school administrator ? Is that the head Master, Mistress the same or principal , vice principal . What is superintendant role ?
