A 32-year-old nurse allegedly strangled her three kids to death before attempting to kill herself by jumping out of the second-floor window of the family’s home in Duxbury, Massachusetts on January 24. I’ve had psychosis but I was very skeptical of the voices and delusions I thought about my actions and the consequences. I had command hallucinations but they were benign like telling me to “get outâ€. I have read that people in psychosis are more likely to follow command hallucinations if they are benign. Makes a lot of sense to me. Also intelligence counts for a lot in psychosis I don’t believe a highly educated labor nurse would follow those command hallucinations right off the bat like that. I’m not buying it. She never reported hearing voices until AFTER the murders while consulting with the forensic psychiatrist hired by her defense attorney. Very fishy and why was she allowed to use his personal cell phone she was in police custody. She has been getting special privileges

All horrible crimes have one thing in common!!! Prescription meds and hard drugs why is no one talking about it, drug testing and keeping records of these murderers!! There is an obvious pattern
Can’t even explain this but perhaps there is way more to this story. Similar to why people commit mass shootings. Just saying we need to look into these psychiatrist and these medications that are given etc. she snapped but all of sudden with voices in her head (neural programming)
How could you not notice that your partner is a potential psychopath you’d had to notice something was off. Maybe she had undue influences upon her. Sad either way.

I had four babies, all healthy thriving adults now. But if I had any images or thoughts of harming one my babies, I would have told my husband, my mom, my doctor, my sisters, my best friends, I would have done everything in my power to save my babies. And I would have stopped right then and there having more babies. At some point something is WRONG, and surely family and close friends would have picked up on her odd behavior. But it seems like in these cases religion plays a big part in their delusions…what's up with that? Also to strangle someone is an up close and personal way to end someone's life. It takes minutes to accomplish just one death. I would think at some delusional point the "mother figure" inside her would be screaming "stop killing your babies!" After all she had older kids that would have been fighting to live as she choked them. Regardless she needs to be held accountable to. Too many mommy murders these days.

She will go to jail for life and say nothing about her mental health I think after having a baby there should be mandatory medical attention such as therapy a phyc evaluation and just keeping in touch with mothers who just gave birth cause postpartum psychosis is a real thing and if you aren’t a mother you have no idea what it’s like to have voices making you feel against ur own baby and children mental health matters for any mother it should be a law to seek mental health services for the first year and a half or more after delivery this so sad I hope this shows awareness that ask for help when you feel like you aren’t your sane self

Don't blame someone else. If she is a nurse, she must say something to her husband. In medicine, we learn that SAFETY comes FIRST. As a nurse, she knows how to play with the system and what she can say. There is no test to determine and make sure she had any real psychosis. It is diagnosed ONLY by the patient statements.
As a mother I cant even imagine killing my kids and her husband will be changed forever, too many women these days are killing their kids and blaming postpartum, dont ever make any excuses for her, ever!!
