Malinowski testified the disgraced lawyer had an account balance of negative $347,000 after June 7, 2021, the day his wife and son were killed. The jury was not present for this testimony.

Can’t believe anyone questions why he killed her. If your company says I need prove you didn’t steal this money now. She didn’t seem like the type to let things go. If a movie is ever made about this criminal….. An investigation needs to be done of all court cases Alec or Randy Murdough handled and ALL proceeds should be returned to every client's family. None back to the law firm because they had educated people in place that should have been closely monitoring the millions that ran thru their private firm. And none to Alec to pay his attorneys otherwise will the appeals process be dragged out as long as possible to milk the money?
The bank needs to be seized.

It is mind boggling how many places this guy was able to get money from. Clients, his law firm, his friends, the bank and who knows where else.
I'm curious and perhaps someone here could help me since I no next to nothing with regards to how things work in court proceedings. Does the jury see videos of these conversations when they are not present or is this something not brought to their attention? I guess what I mean is why are they not present for some of these testimonies?

I mean i'm totally guessing and assuming, but the bank has all your information available to them, i know bc i work at a well-known bank in mortgage, and we have everything financial listed, including how much liquid, which includes properties, investment accts, etc., as well as all your debts, not to mention your salary, and he was making 250k base salary. And i assume he had a 401k. So he would have overdrafted for 350k, but he had been with them for a long time i assume, and they could easily see how much property he owned, which would've been valued in the millions. It's slightly different than someone who has 100k in student debt, has their credit cards maxed and owns no property, then overdrafts on their account. I would assume it has something to do with all of that.
Just like when u apply for a credit card, they can see what percentage of your allocated credit is being used to determine if they will allow the card to be opened. I'm not saying what they did was right or wrong, but that people are comparing apples to oranges.
With high net worth clients, they probably see this more often than u think. It would be shocking to see what some of these high net individuals accounts look like, i'm sure of it.
OMG. This I didn't know the first time I listened to it. Russel Lefiet (sp) is related to Alec's old law firm's CFO/COO. So, he 'approved' this sweetheart deal and is now out on the street? The female CFO/COO is the dark haired woman w/dark rimmed glasses. Another case of small town business incest? This just gets better and better because the good ole girl/boy system was working in the law firm where the handling of money and reconciliation/balancing of books was – eh.
750,000 to remodel! Are you kidding me! I don’t want to talk about the deceased, but she was privileged, and Alex was footing the bill! Very messed up family!
Bank needs to be put out of business and its officers indicted for malfeasance.

Here's an interesting thought … how far back in the history of this famous law family dynasty do shady practices go ? There just might be some skeletons in those refurbished cupboards.
I have read that money is not the root of all evil, but in fact it is "the Pursuit of Money, that is the root of all evil".
You can love the thought of money and riches!! But once you pursue it like Murdaugh did, it becomes a whole different ballgame???
And I'm laughing as he's gonna die in prison eventually. Locked up for the rest of his remaining life! Can't help but love that!
I can't imagine being -$350,000!!!! I get overdrafts when my balance goes in the red even for a dime!!!! Like Neil Diamond said, "Money talks, but it can't sing and it don't walk."
In 2023, B of A charges $30 for stop payments, $$$ for overdrafts etc. Alex M must own that bank or have a lot of shares of stock.
