In a twist of events, a burglary suspect found himself begging for the help of police after he was shot by a Florida homeowner on January 27. Haines City officers secured the scene then rushed to help Tyriek Washington, who would survive and later be charged for the alleged burglary. Problem is that the people who most need to see these videos are the least likely to see them. Namely those who prefer to watch the videos slanted to make police look as bad as possible, who have already made up their minds that cops are all bad, and people who are considering getting into the robbery and burglary trade. This is what can happen. And imagine being that guy alone in the dark, dying and bleeding out, terrified and with no one to comfort or help you. Don't be that guy.
