‘Alex Murdaugh Stole It’: CFO Testifies Disgraced Lawyer Swindled Millions from Law Firm and Clients

The former CFO of PMPED testified that Alex Murdaugh allegedly swindled millions of dollars from clients over the years working at his family’s law firm. “Alex Murdaugh stole it,” Jeannie Seckinger said about one of the many large checks signed and received by the disgraced South Carolina lawyer. Seckinger testified that the law firm was stuck repaying the misappropriated funds, stating that at least one client is still owed money to this day.

  1. WE ALL KNOW HOW INFANTS WHO HAVE NOT LEARNED BOUNDARIES SAY, " MINE" TO EVERYTHING THEY WANT. AM IS A GROWN INFANT WITHOUT THE MENTAL ABILITY TO RESPECT ANYBODIES RIGHTS, OR OWNERSHIP OF THAT WHICH RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO THEM. GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY HE WOULD SUFFOCATE THE RIGHTS OR LIVES OF ANY PERSON. HOPEFULLY ALL WILL REMOVE THEMSELVES FROM THIS TRULY SICK, EVIL MAN AIDED BY HIS FAMILY THAT ARE JUST AS DISGUSTING AS HE IS.

  2. Well, this is a wonderful example of why internal controls are necessary in any organization. As Ronnie Raygun said, in one of his very few true statements, "Trust, but verify." Even though AM was stealing with both hands, the most basic examination of canceled checks would have uncovered it (as it was, eventually). It was sophisticated only in AM's assessment that he could get away with it. Has any man in recent memory so destroyed his vaunted career through his own actions? I'm not sure being a thief and a junkie qualifies as hubris. What a long fall.

  3. It’s perfectly clear that Alex did exactly as he chose to do for one simple reason (and this is his mindset)….
….”My name is Murdaugh! I will do whatever I f’g want to do and no one, I mean no one, can do anything about it…this was my granddaddy’s town…it became my daddy’s town…and NOW this is MY F’G TOWN”.
When I was high school (a few minutes ago) I had a ball coach that used to love this saying, “the bigger they, the harder they fall”. Good old boy Alex fell pretty hard.

And as Buster sits in the courtroom listening to all of the accounts of his dad stealing all this money he’s probably thinking, “I can’t believe they are doing this…WE are MURDAUGH’S. Dad was entitled to do ALL OF THIS STUFF…so, he “flips off a witness” to show what he’s made of”.

  4. She is guilty also!! Didn’t she ever wonder why Alex never received bonuses at the end of each year!!
Her brother-in- law was the banker that also mismanaged funds (& stole) from the 2 teenager girls that lost their mom & brother in a horrible vehicle accident. Both sisters were also in that crash.

  5. This Auditor knew part of what was going on. Her brother-in-law that worked for his family bank stole from 2 teenager girls that lost their mom & bother in a horrible vehicle crash.

  6. I reckon he had a gambling addiction, and that's why he was stealing so much money, and he kept losing which lead to stress which is why he became addicted to pills.
