This disabled military veteran was completely confused when police officers showed up at his home one evening, telling him they wanted him to step outside and talk. When he wisely said no, even though they had no warrant, the officers then barged into his home in front of his entire family, handcuffing him, threatening to tase him, and throwing him to the ground, injuring him in front of his shocked family. Then these cops realized that, oops, they were at the wrong person’s house.

Why? They were looking for a shoplifter who allegedly stole $150 worth of shrimp from a Winn Dixie who was not him, and who didn’t even match his description. That’s bad enough. But the most shocking thing about it is that an entire group of police officers thought they were entitled to just barge in a guy’s home without a warrant? Every government employee from top to bottom responsible for this must be held accountable.

  1. They threatened and drew their taser in that man's house…those people were no threat. There should be a law against that too i mean that should be a felony against that cop.

  2. Things like this happen way too often not to be by design understand the United States is a police state the only law that matters is the police law the blue line. This is why there's very little consequences for police officers

  3. Civil rights lawyer… Read the room. If he was white or had a white name, it's probably would not have happened. In this current environment, if you're not white and well to do? You don't have rights in this nation. I will eat my hat if anyone on any level is held accountable for a civil rights violation, especially in Florida.

The system is broken and it's getting worse mainly because there's no accountability.
This is a very reason why I know 100% I can't stop them but I know 100% that I can get Justice Swift and proportional, outside of the system. It's not a question of if this will happen to you but when it does and when that does… I thoroughly believe that those officers will not repeat the same thing with another person if they even decide to stay in law enforcement after I get ahold of them.
My message to law enforcement is do your job, honor your oath, don't violate the law. The further you take it the worst the retaliation will be. This goes for me or any member of my family or anyone that is in my circle.

  4. This is despicable. Deplorable. Either no one bothered to teach them the basics if criminal law, including keeping up on major 4th Amendment cases (should be required reading), or they just simply do not care what the law says. Either way, it is inexcusable.

  5. Video & blog post idea; You should create some content so viewers can print out these case law that we can keep by our front door that shows why cops can't come in…

  6. That is so unacceptable and crosses so many lines. These people need to be held accountable. It should not be possible for the people that we count on to protect us, to have an intent to hurt us. Sickening
