  1. That tree video is chilling because it was one hour before the murders, Alex was aware the laughing son was about to die, even his fake joy in the video is chilling as he only has a sneak peak at his son with one eye as if to say “enjoy your final moments in this life”

  2. I think the majority of us would love to know what happened out there between 8:44 and 8:50. It’s so freaky weird and sad that when I’m seeing Paul’s shoes and the screen shot I grabbed showing his right foot laying just inside the feed room door knowing his brain landed by his feet. One moment he was thinking about that dog and the next he sees his dad killing him.

  3. My only doubt is, If Alec planned it, why was he talking when Paul was on the phone with his friend? He should have known that the person who was talking with Paul might heard his voice. He was right there, he knew that Paul was talking for 4 minutes, why didn’t he keep silent if it was planned?

  4. The timeline can easily be picked apart if a true cell tower expert was consulted. There is more technical info available than presented by the prosecution. The defense should go into the HLR records for that day for Maggie's phone around the time of the prosecution theory of how her phone got to the place where it was found. The change in transmission power levels on the phone could indicate when it moved if the GPS data is not available

  5. Do the math…If they can pin point maggies cell phone at 9.08 ..It would show its in alexs suv…..why isnt that ever mentioned?Thats the slam dunk in this case aswell as sons video with his voice in back ground….at 8.44…In my opinion the murders accured at 8.50…

  6. So they were murdered while alex was still at home and he didn’t hear gunshots . Then left minutes later to go to his moms . Yeah he’s guilty . So can’t they see his phone being down at the kennels when this happens or did he leave it at his home ?

  7. Why would you kill your family to hide financial crimes, that doesn’t make sense. I don’t see this man as a cold blooded killer that could take a shotgun to his wife and son, that is extremely brutal.

  8. I would like the believe Alex did not commit the murders after watching his very emotional testimony on the stand… BUT BUT BUT….. The timeline is more or less saying he did do it…
I think after Alex allegedly drove the golf cart back to the house, Maggie started walking back to the house and then shortly after heard a gunshot, which would be Paul getting shot at approximately 8:54 p.m., and she turns back around to go back to the kennels and sees Paul dead, and then she gets shot shortly after 8:55 p.m.
During this time, supposedly Alex is back in the house, yet never heard the gunshots? Then calls Maggie's phone at 9:06 p.m. to tell her he's going to his mother's, but goes answered, then gets in his SUV and leaves the property around 9:08 p.m….
What I'm getting at is, I believe that Paul was shot first with the shotgun, then Maggie about a minute or two after by the other gun.
And then the killer was messing with Maggie's phone after she was shot, but couldn't unlock it…
But this case is still not a slam dunk beyond A reasonable doubt…
If someone else did commit the murders, then they must have been a genius to do in such a way that would make Alex appear guilty….. Or Alex was a genius figuring out how to dispose of the guns and clothes and wash up in a very short period of time somewhere in between the murder scene and his mother's house… The only discrepancy there is , is the mothers caretaker said Alex was wearing a cloth-like shoe, which was different from the sneakers he was wearing when the police arrived after the 911 call..
I sure wouldn't want to be a juror on this case…
