I LOVE this judge!!!! He is so fair to both sides and very knowledge with the law as he should be. The best judge I've seen during high profile cases.
People who think that only being able to "cobble together" a million dollars means you're broke, have clearly never actually been broke before. Being able to put together a million dollars, plus having multiple properties, multiple vehicles and plenty of sellable assests, in my world makes you very comfortable.
I understand that when a lawyer is coming after you for 10 million, 1 million or less doesn’t seem like much, but it's obvious to me that Alex Murdaugh lacked perspective on how blessed he actually was. I believe this lack of perspective added to his greed and ultimately his ability to rationalize stealing from his friends, family, the firm, and from so many people who actually were broke.
Alex either hid the money or lost it gambling. What a family. Culpability everywhere.
This whole trial was about how money can buy you time and favor.

I just admire Judge Newman so much. After just losing his own son, what must have been going through his mind overseeing this trial where the defendant was so obviously guilty of killing his (son).
The jury has nothing to do for weeks and weeks than to pay attention. Also, they have no other option. So I don't think that a prosecutor or defense attorney need to bring out fireworks

Much drama about asking the family help about if she knew if Maggie was troubled about money issues…. when Prosecution has already firmly laid out there were in fact money issues… OMG. They just don't want Ms Blanca to reveal her conversation with Maggie. Dope Defense moves for an ENTIRE mistrial because the Prosecution followed up with a financial question right after his objection to try to pre-empt it. Pfft.

Omg please please please consider putting timestamps for witnesses, breaks etc. It is impossible to watch these 9 hour videos skipping around trying to find the right sections. I really can't watch it. Please consider. I feel like you would increase viewership tenfold if you were to make your court videos easy to navigate

I still dont get they "why" if he did it, why did he have to do it? Killing them would not stop the finance stuff from coming out…unless he had told them and they said they would spill the beans…What is the "why"…no life insurance…and if maggie had money..in her death it would go to Alex and be taken in the lawsuit.
