You can see the time he starts this crying «scene» it’s been a short period where nobody in the car talked to him. I bet he got time to think about it all. NOT that his wife and son is dead and all the other lifes he had ruined but that HE had been caught. He actually thought he had done everything «perfect» so they couldn’t take him. Then the perfect Snapchat video came along. Paul didn’t know it but he caught his murderer himself making sure that this creature got his punishment. I have always wondered what the outcome would have been without that snap. There was enough evidence to take him down I guess but the state would have to find other ways to take him down.

You can just tell before this interview even started they already suspected Alex was responsible. Just needed to find those right pieces of evidence and inconsistencies to put it all together.

It is common practice for law enforcement officials to conduct an interview in a vehicle. It produces an informal setting meant to set a suspect at ease and encourage conversation. It is considered " neutral territory ".
The judge should have tacked on a few extra years for atrocious acting.
He is sure calm for someone whose wife and son were murdered in such a horrible way .

Guilty people love the opportunity to give specific details about irrelevant stuff. This allows them to not worry about telling a lie. If given the opportunity, guilty people will go on and on on various tangents because it is no pressure for them at all. They can tell the truth and ramble on until stopped.
