Friends and former co-workers of Lindsay Clancy, the nurse accused of strangling her three children, sent letters to a Massachusetts court in support of her, citing she was a mother dedicated to her children. Clancy’s defense attorney used these letters in court while attempting to reverse the judge’s ruling on bail denial. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie has the details.

Imagine her brain functioning was wrong and they give her drugs to block more areas, boom! it was the end.
She loved her kids? If that's love, I don't want it. Is it the bullet's fault that killed another person? No!!!! Postpartum is real and it's bad. It doesn't change the fact that she strangled all of her kids.
I don't feel the children and their dad will receive any justice for a calculated murder. Even in her paraplegic state, a state that was a result of her choosing to try and end her life, she is choosing to claim innocence due to her mental state – she has already taken the lives of the children but chooses to not give peace to her husband who has lost everything. A very callous person.

What a load of bull. A loving mother does NOT murder their 3 innocent babies! This was clearly premeditated.
I'm more concerned about the father she can rot in jail but the father I hope someone is keeping a eye on him I couldn't live without my kids. I wouldn't want to be here if something ever happened to them.
She literally left a note about how she resented her kids, but friends come out and say she was "devoted" to her kids. Brainwashing is a scary thing.

Her psychiatrists and the psychiatrists at McLean psych ward where she was an inpatient didn’t diagnose her with postpartum psychosis or event postpartum depression: merely generalized anxiety. The only one who mentioned it was her lawyer. How can that be?
Post-partem depression does not make what she did to these kids okay. This was a premeditated murder. She didn’t quickly kill them…. She strangled them – one after another.

She will be charged and the attorneys defending her know she's a murderer. She couldn't even muster up tears for the hearing.

This is disgusting that they are pushing this narrative. Everyone deals with issues, and everyone is depressed. Fortunately, not everyone is snuffing out the lives of their 3 babies. She could have ended herself, but she wasn't "depressed" enough to do that apparently, I guess bc that's a little too depressed, she was only depressed enough to murder 3 babies instead. If only she was a little more "depressed" I guess we could have gotten a better outcome. Let's hope more women don't get "depressed" and murder their families. Btw, was Chris watts depressed? Idk. Oh, nvm I get it, so it's only a certain type of depression that excuses executing 3 babies in such horrific fashion. Sounds logical to me.

The onr thing all these things
crazy killings, mass shootings, kids suicides, family killingsall seem to have in common is prescription medsI experienced postpartum with both of my pregnancies. I was 20 and in an abusive relationship with my oldest and it never crossed my mind to kill my baby and myself. I was also very poor and very alone in this world. It felt like all I had was my baby girl. I fought for two years to get up the courage and strength to leave that relationship for my baby! I didn’t want her to grow up poor in a broken home, bc her mother was an irresponsible teen who made a choice one steamy lusty night! Bc, of how severe my postpartum was I can’t understand this defense. But it’s not for me to understand.
I know from personal experience with family members that have had a psychosis episode and they didn’t seem irrational on the outside, but after it was over the things say explained about what was happening on the inside was frightening!!

She was put on 13 psych meds in the month before this tragedy. Those “drs†who did that should be held responsible for this too.
I don't understand how their dad could forgive her? That would destroy any feelings I had for my spouse. That's just too far. She planned the murders, hours in advance. She could have told her husband she wasn't doing well & needed help. She literally sent her husband away to carry out these murders. That' doesn't sound like a person that just had a bad moment. I don't believe it had anything to do with medications either.
