  1. I don’t understand why Alex picked these defense attorneys. They are awful. Especially the bumbling one. He never knows where anything is. All he does is muttle the evidence

  2. Why in Gods name would the defense question the doctor specifics about the gunshots. Of course its to confuse the doctor and her testimony. But what does that gain them. Their client still looks like a monster 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. He doesn’t have to look like a failure to sell because they were shot there.. it was all planned… Paul wouldn’t have anywhere to go back to take over.. he planned this for awhile

  4. Alex may have been a "broken man" after the murders but that does not exclude him from being the culprit. He may have loved money more and decided to take plp he loved but not as much as money that got in his way of him and money and power.

  5. Mr. Harpoonily is acting so ignorant purposefully to try to make the witness change her testimony by strong arming her. Total BS and if the state pulled it he would have been tossing papers and screeching for a mistrial. Cherry picking statements from literature and applying them to a complete different scenario seem like something to object to but i do not practice law and dont know if there is actual grounds for an objection though you would assume so because this is a total sideshow what he is pulling during a double homicide trial.

  6. 1:25:20 trial starts…. The fact that he was so greedy and Maggie was gonna divorce him and he didn't want to stop poppin pills and stealing money and from sum pictures luved partying with young girls possibly cheating on Maggie and Paul was ruining Alex's life and bout to cost him millions he chose to murder them… He should've just put life insurance on his self and killed his self but no instead he killed 2 half way innocent ppl … It blows my mind…hmmm🤔

  7. 7:08:00
Defense asks witness if she is critical of Alex for wanting to 'clear Paul's name' on the boating accident.
She says she thought his priority should have been on focusing on finding the killers.
How did she know that wasn't a priority?
Alex never talked about finding the killers with her. Everyone was scared and they didn't know the MOTIVES behind the killings. They thought is was related to the boat case, and they thought that "up until September, and then things started to change a little bit"
(This opened the door for the prosecution to talk about what happened in September that affected her thoughts on the murder motive, motive being a key component of what the Prosecution needs to prove. So debate will erupt once Prosecution stands to follow up on this.)

  8. Maggie’s sister…”he said someone must have thought about this for a long time…” hmmm. Maybe that’s why the one gun went missing, or was stolen????

  9. I’m on day 15 trying to catch up. Gatling out the emotion and looking at the facts, I still don’t see any hard facts that he killed his wife and son. So far I only see the contradiction of him not being at the stables with Paul and Maggie. No weapon, no real dna, no clothes, no gun residue. He managed to get rid of gun and his clothes that fast? I keep going back to if someone else did it. Killed them for Alex???

  10. ‘I’m just a naive old friendly man and you’ve taught me lots about gunshot cos I don’t know much about them’ … [40mins later] shows has read the principal textbook on shotgun wounds and is going to challenge the expert witness that he knows more than she does… 🙄 This guy does my nut in

  11. These commentators are ridiculous. He went and showered and changed. The tiny residue found probably fell on his shorts and shirts getting back in vehicle. He could have had gloves on and carrying another gun on shoulder with gun strap.

  12. The fact that AM could not shoot the dog and had to have his dog caregiver do it means absolutely nothing to me there are so many people in this world especially in this country who value animal life over human life 🤷🏾‍♀️🤮

  13. Although I still believe the jurors should have been able to take notes, now as I've watched the trial I was wrong about the Judge he has been fair. To think this family carried for well over 50 years that kind of clout had me suspicious regarding the Judge so I do apologize for saying that. I'm sure the Judge isn't following the comments I still have a conscious & can admit to jumping to conclusions regarding this Judge. I hope this isn't a hung jury & they can see through Alec's smoke & mirrors. He knows how the game is played & his tears are for himself no one else. May Maggie & Paul & all those who loved them get justice. 🙏❤️🇨🇦

  14. Watching Dale testify I’m starting to get the sense that Alec may have talked down to the “hired help”. Dale said that Maggie talked to him “like a real person” as if that was unusual. It reminded me that Alec tried to bully his mother’s caregiver (Miss Shelley I think) and their housekeeper Blanca into changing their their observations of him close in time to the murders: the amount of time he spent at his mother’s house and the clothes that Alec was wearing the morning of the murder. They all were kind of afraid of him. They say that your true character comes out when no one is looking . . .

  15. It seems like Harpoolian is playing up the gruesomeness of the murders. Is it part of the strategy that Alec loved his wife and son so very much that he would never cause so much carnage? I just don’t see any upside to this line of questioning.

And I hope he’s not planning to read that entire book (that was probably published the year Harpoolian graduated from law school) . . .

  16. What do these people consider lavish?
Imagine the sister saying the boat crash was devastating on their family, nothing said about the family of the girl that died.

  17. The pathologist said it’s not her job to look at crime scene photos. However, she is a forensic pathologist. In other trials, forensic pathologists DO take all of that into consideration along with their autopsy. She’s the only one I’ve ever heard say looking at crime scene photos isn’t her job.
