Three suspects accused of killing rapper XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, during an alleged armed robbery in 2018 are facing trial. Suspects Michael Boatwright, 28, and his accused accomplices, Dedrick Williams, 26, and Trayvon Newsome, 24, could receive life in prison if convicted of the murder.

Those .22LR Aguila supermax rimfire rounds are the same I use in my HK MP5 .22LR and competition Ruger 10/22. They advertise a 1700fps muzzle velocity and 193lbf energy, which is high for a .22LR (although higher can be achieved with hand loads but tend to promote excessive fouling), I remember ordering them online many many years ago, I think they where based in NM or somewhere down south, but could be wrong on that. Back then at least they came in two variants, JHP and FMJ…
It’s not a very substantial round as far as down range energy, but the nasty effects of .22 rounds is they tend to tumble and deflect and can actually cause more soft tissue damage then a through and through wound from something like a .223 / 5.56mm. A neck shot is just about the worst place to take a shot from a .22LR, I can see all kinds of nastyness occurring (lots of critical vasculature in that region).
