  1. i completely agree that mental illness can control your actions and he probably shouldnt be charged for the incident itself, but its still his choice to quit his medication for no reason. he knew that he had mental illness and chose to quit his treatment while still in his right mind. and thats inexcuseable.

  2. Maybe the police department should put some money into padding the confinement that the canines have to ride around in all day and night. Padding might have saved that beautiful dogs life.

  3. That is so scary because that is exactly how my mother was killed by a guy that was trying to kill himself he swerved in front of her she tried to get around and he hit her head on killing her and he survived It's awful that people do shit like this it absolutely destroyed my entire family

  4. He’s a schizophrenic, severely depressed, and suicidal young man with a baby on the way.. He wasn’t trying to kill cops on purpose, and the fact that anybody thinks he was is fucking ludicrous. Again, get educated!!!

  5. Middletown is next to Franklin. And she clearly isn’t from Lebanon because that is not how you pronounce it. they drove a ways because Oxford isn’t even close to Lebanon.

  6. The sentence seemed to be a good fit to keep him on the proper course with his mental health. However, i dont think he needs charges like that on his record.
Prosecuters in the US seem focused on the longest possible sentence rather than a sentence that reflects actual justice.
Was he a criminal? I say no. Did he cause an accident? Yes.

  7. RIP K-9 officer Fury. May you rest. Thank you for the service you provided to your community. I bet you were the best boy. May your humans find comfort in the love you gave them.

  8. A dog is as much a police officer as much as a potato is capable of space travel on it's own intelligence…………. Don't get me wrong I love dogs but to charge it like real cop being killed is insane, I guess if cops can charge civilians that kill a K9 with the murder of a cop then civilians should be able to charge cops with killing a family member when they shoot your dog for no other reason besides they felt threatened….

  9. What is stupid question. Why would you ask someone who’s trying to commit suicide if they were concerned about any anybody that might be in their way when you’re suicidal you don’t give a shit about anybody especially yourself cops need to get with it. They need to get educated on mental health like yesterday

  10. The mental health team who allowed his continuity of care to break should also be held responsible. Maybe the mandatory mental health care will hold his mental health team accountable from now on, but they are definitely partly responsible for what happened. When will mental health "professionals" take proper care of their patients? These things will keep happening until mental health teams are held to account. That's not OK.

  11. Psychoactive side effects – suicidal or homicidal ideations. Can't stop taking them if you've been on them for awhile.
Even canabis can be emotional trying to withdraw from it. But not like these pharmacueticals.
