Wisconsin man Zachariah Anderson faces trial for charges in connection with the disappearance and death of Rosario Gutierrez, Jr. in May 2020. Anderson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking. Prosecutors allege Anderson stalked his ex-girlfriend and killed her new love interest, Gutierrez, at his Kenosha apartment. Anderson is back on trial after a judge declared a mistrial last year after only two days of testimony. Gutierrez’s body has never been found.

  1. It focused solely on Mr. Anderson because ALL the evidence pointed them to him! If there was evidence to support anyone else then defense would have filed a Denny Motion

  2. Dudes like this are always like this, im curious if on the trial, exes come up. Im just starting trial, but hard to believe he just became a stalker if thats the case. Maybe he has past reputation i will learn about.

  3. I dont get how he put a listening device in the vent? Wouldn't he have to be inside? Im from FL, maybe homes up north are a little different. Or maybe its explained later , unless he means listening device in a car vent.

  4. The judge is PAINFUL to listen to 😳 holy moly! I think its time to retire for sure. Ive forgot what hes even talking about by the time hes done with a sentence because he takes so long 🙈
Also does the feed keep randomly going in and out for anyone else?

  5. The judge, already w/a 1st objection in the opening statement (which i always heard was just rude & unprofessional 2 object at this time in a case)answered 2 the defense, 'well i hope they wouldnt investigate me or others w/no reason 2 do so', Ummmm…how is there no reason 2 look in2 a gf-who was 1st on scene 2 call 911, AND was being cheated on? Thats actually THREE reasons 2 look in2 her…???

  6. I'd like her to defend me! She's sharp; maybe not perfect. She's not intimidated easily 👏👏👏

  7. Ok, i do not know law. Period. But it REALLY troubles me that the STATE is so very worried – at opening statements phase, my God- about something that the defense may not even attempt to "prove"; and, that defense may be able to "prove" reasonable doubt based on FACTS. I DON'T LIKE IT.

The defense had better be able to come up with credible evidence that the ex or someone else had a STRONG MOTIVE, and circumstantial evidence that someone else (specifically mind you) COULD have done it.

    I'm speaking as a juror.

Think about it: as a juror, im not only interested in evidence of defendant supporting the states charges, im also looking for reasonable doubt to CONCLUDE the defandant is the only one who 1) had motive 2) has serious evidence against her/him.

  8. Defense attorney may have strategized her opening statement to her client's disadvantage. But she is sharp, and a few years of experience will result in a great defense attorney. Period. Love her spirit.

  9. Okey doke: im 5-10 minutes into defenses opening statement, and, WITHOUT looking at her (just listening) she's doing fine… as good as any defense opening statement.

  10. First time I have ever heard a lawyer respond,,,judge: who is giving opening statement? Defense: me. 😮 every trial I have seen has been…. “I am your honor” or “I will be your honor”. Just showed her immaturity!
