5. I go to school at JT Moore in Nashville when the shooting happened I was in fourth grade and in my art class our art teacher told us about the shooting, and they said 6 people died. Around my neighborhood I was seeing signs that said “we stand with covenant” and as I was reading the sign it had said the people that had died, and my friend, William Kinney had been killed in the covenant shooting. 11. These individuals have been trained extensively. It shows as they immediately as enter the building, communicating with each other as they quickly clear the building. It's a sad world we live in these days as such things as this occur. These officers stepped up and did what had to be done.

36. I went to school in high school with Michael Collazo… and knowing his military training and hearing him say “I’m with you” is truly genuine. Such a good moment, thank you for protecting our kids ❤

37. I cannot imagine having to respond to that situation as a police officer. As much as the public does need to know of these events it broke my heart to hear these men have to relive those moments in front of everyone. I really feel for them, and i pray for their mental well-being. I cant even express my level of gratitude for their ability to successfully respond to something so tragic. They are heroes in every sense ❤

40. Hearing him discuss stepping over a victim was emotional. I don't know if I could handle something like that. These cops were determined to not have a Uvalde or Parkland High situation and for that, those men should be proud of themselves for eliminating the threat that existed.

43. Looking back on this, it is still astounding that neither officer worked with each other before, but that's what good training does. Both fell back on training and instincts and covered each other as the search went on.
