I thought it was super smart of the police officer to climb mid porch to check the windows before picking a window. That way, if he could climb on the porch roof, he had that option, if it was a different window. Then, when he established which window, he got it done with good assistance of the other officers and the family. Well done!
What are the odds the house catches on fire AND that rickety old ladder happened to be there for the cops to use to save the baby.
