Bodycam footage shows the aftermath of a “citizen’s arrest” turned violent when a father and son duo allegedly beat a homeless man in September 2022. The video shows the father, Doug Cullison, telling officers that he took down the man for allegedly hitting his wife, a teacher at a nearby school. Cullison, a volunteer Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office SWAT medic, told police that his son, Nate Cullison, struck the man over 20 times while he continued to pin him on the ground. Pueblo police initially closed the investigation after citing the beaten man but reopened the case after a security video surfaced of the violent beatdown. The case has now been referred to 10th Judicial District Attorney Jeff Chostner who will decide whether the father-son duo will face assault charges. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down.

  1. I work at a 711 in a nice area, the homeless really are dangerous. They WILL try to fight innocent/random ppl and pull the "Ow! I got hit!" Don't linger and dont interact, there is no winning against them, they won't leave

  2. Can't say I wouldn't also "citizens arrest" someone for punching my wife 🤷‍♂️

  3. If that dude was 6’4”, yoked and healthy, they wouldn’t have done a damned thing. They beat him because he was weaker. Thankfully, they were arrested and convicted and got a year of supervised probation. Jr. will never hold a job that requires a background check.

  4. If you don’t personally witness a crime, you can’t place anyone under citizens arrest. The father and son committed an aggravated battery.

This guy has very serious little-man issues.

  5. He was so proud of his sons actions "That's my boy right thuur 😢"
I loath people like them, they are the types who prop up corrupt goverment and policies.
"Yeeeah took ar Jowbs" cringe incarnate cop wannabees.

  6. After watching this video do you feel kinder towards the police or less trusting.
No wonder the public no longer trusts them when this is their behaviour.
No wonder we no longer admire them, no longer feel they are on our side.
    They are not our friends

  7. These 2 should have been jailed, but I heard they got away with it because of police friends. This was a kid who was mentally challenged as well. They brutally beat the KID.

  8. Well I dislike how the story went from a punch in the face into 'A punch". (@2:39). Now I want to know what contact was made by the arrested to the teacher? Was it accurate, or escalation?

  9. IT'S NICE TOO SEE A FATHER AND SON ACTIVITY. NOTHING SAYS WELCOME TO NORTH KAMERICA MORE THAN GETTING TOGETHER WITH A LOVED ONE, FOR SOME FAMILY TIME.
