33. Interesting case. Right now I have some sympathy in some ways for the accused in that he was relatively young at the time and the mixed messages ( to say the least) helped drive this obsession. ( we have only heard the opening statements from both sides.) However his intent was clearly very creepy and his actions got out of hand . He wrote a list for God's sake of what he was going to do ;getting duplicate keys and buying a tracker etc. and then carried through on these actions. Just weird though that they are going for a charge of burglary. Not sure if there is a specific charge for stalking, but I would have thought that would make more sense ,since that is clearly what he did.
    I can only imagine how frightening it would be to see someone in your bedroom doorway in the middle of the night and then finding out they had been in the house doing all sorts of things stealing clothing etc not just that time but before as well. I think it's a good job it got stopped when it did and hopefully he's the type who learns the error of his ways . The young woman involved too needs to learn not to mess around with people's emotions. If someone just turns up at your house unannounced it is not something to be "flattered" by. She should have put a stop to it there and then, the first time and cut off the texting relationship. However she didn't as she was getting financial benefit and attention when she wanted it; not realising that this sort of thing can quickly escalate, and evolve into something far more creepy ,as indeed it did .
