Not to be that guy but i completely understand her. Having a restricted life, being in control of someone else all the time, not being able to do whatever you want to do sucks. On top of that the parents had expectations of her that she HAD to meet otherwise she would face public shaming by her parents in front of their entire family. She isnt the problem. Parents who never give a shit about their childs feelings always complain about why their kid doesnt visit them often or just in general dont give a shit. Maybe that kid HATES their parents, and it is for this reason why. Their entire household was not connected, no one listened to eachother.

(I’m not saying she wasn’t a liar, I am saying I have problems with the assumptions that the reporter in this show makes!) I think this kid was so stressed out that she couldn’t keep up with the expectations that everything just went downhill from there and then she was abused and imprisoned at home. Jennifer should NOT have done this but the father should also be charged with abuse. This whole set up was destined for something to crack up badly.

We never know what made her snap. Some kids are abused to be "perfect". Anything lower than a high A+ and get smacked, burnt, tortured, etc. or told how dumb you are constantly can make a person go this psycho. RIP to the family and I hope she gets that inner peace she clearly needs the family I hope is at peace too.
