This cop is obviously an asshole. One who needs to be off the force. This woman had someone else bump her car!!! How many of us have had their car bumped by person in back of you? Then this asshole cop goes after her? No no no this was wrong. He did not have to set the stage for being so sarcastic and this was not his first time of complaints!!!!! This cop makes a lot of cops looks bad. I am sorry this is not a hardened criminal to be manhandled and ducking tased!!! Was he out of his mind? Where are these cops told they can arrest without appropriate interviews? He was rude to begin with which set the tone. These new cops need to go out with more senior cops for not a few weeks. They need to go for a year!!!! And after FIRST the First complaint!!! Taken off duty immediately for sensitive classes. He is the reason cops are hated!!!!!!!

Our law enforcement officers don't get paid enough to take the verbal abuse they do. The driver was COMBATIVE from the start. Apparently, she didn't read her Rules Of The Road book very well (or had forgotten parts of it) so is, likely, be truthful when she says she did not know she was supposed to stop.
All . . . ALL she had to say was she didn't know, now that she does, what can she do to get right with the law? Instead, she got RUDE & CONDESCENDING: "I didn't consider it being involved, HONEY." He, politely, tells her he doesn't want to be addressed as "honey." ALL she had to do there was apologize if that offended him. Instead, SHE GETS DEFIANT & announces she's going to, intentionally, obstruct his investigation . . ."How's That!!" Maybe he over-reacted at that point, but it was her arrogant behavior that brought it on.
This woman was combative from the start, then addresses him w/ the condescending term "honey." He, very softly replies. "Don't call me honey, please." ALL she had to do at that point was say, OK. Instead: "Well then don't talk to me. How about that!" SO, she is announcing that she demands he refrain from conducting an investigation. She had the right to refuse to speak, but not to command him not to talk to her.
She admitted she felt the impact and just drove off; which is illegal. That is, likely, why her read her Miranda rights. "Look at me, I'm just a girl . . . why'd you treat me like that!?' MA'AM, WHY were you so adversarial? WHY did you address a full grown professional law enforcement officer like he's an ignorant 2-year-old w/ "honey." It seems this arrogant self-righteous female is used to pushing others around while demanding they give her respect.
She shouldn’t of patronised him and given him attitude (serious situation, not her friend) ..he shouldn’t have over reacted and hurt her .. at least tried alternatives before he’s escalated it
Am I the only person who thought she was rude and bitchy to begin with? I think the reason for the arrest was silly, and could had easily been explained in court and later dropped, but she became combative. You start fighting with the police, and you make it very hard to plea your case.I imagine that was traumatizing, but I hope in the future when faced with a similar situation, she remembers that it is a crime in itself to resist an arrest, whether or not the arrest was justified.
This is an unpopular opinion but she had a belligerent attitude. Not a good way to deal with the police when you're in the wrong!

Everybody insulting this cop for doing his job is just a sad millennial trying to defend a delinquent for being a female. She wasn’t tased for calling him honey, she was tased for messing around and taking no seriousness in the investigation. She was arrested and she chose to defend herself. THAT is why she was tased. Now stop complaining.
