1. I dislike Peterson at this point but I still don't see how he's criminally responsible… Is he morally responsible? Sure, should he have reacted differently? Most definitely but I'm struggling to make that leap 6:42:06

2. I don't understand why the cops had to yell and scream at these terrified kids as they cleared them out. Yelling for them to come out with their hands up at the top of their lungs isn't really how you make someone feel safe after something like that… 6:32:43

3. I know if inwas there to protect these kids and had my gun id go Towards the gunfire it where it was reported coming from. I think he was scared to go in to be honest. These are usually semi retired officers that just want the easy ride. Thats what I think. Knowing kids where being shot and I had a gun id stay moving until i found the shooter rather than just standing there

4. Wow! The police arrive with info from calls to 911 and assume the campus officer has that info already. He doesn't. It looks like the police want to blame the guy that isn't part of their group and did not have the information they had.

5. That ex Coast Guard guy has a hero complex and was virtue signaling most of his testimony. What a putz.

6. These kids are still dealing with this trauma. My heart aches for them while I am so very proud of them for finding the courage to be in this courtroom.

7. Why does the defense attorney literally repeat everything the state has already went through? Was he not listening when they were going through their questions? All he does is waste time

8. Wow. They are really showing the jurors a lot in this one huh? First time I've ever seen that happen. The cameraman is a bit off today. Maybe had a late night or something but holy he's making me sea sick sometimes lol

9. The boy by the window he could have opened the window and called out to Peterson ?????? Called for help ? Why not. ? Instinctingly you would do that ?

10. Why all those questions to the young victims? They did not know anything about the defendant. They were inside. What is the defense lawyer trying to prove. ? Especially the ukrainan boy. He did not know Me Peterson.

14. I have a visceral reaction to the defense attorney. I can’t stand him. I think he’s a manipulative jerk. Slimy. Pretending to be a nice guy but really sneaky. Just really dislike him. I don’t think Scot Peterson should be found guilty. I just really dislike his attorney.

15. I've never watched a trial where you have to listen to the sound guy breathing, talking and moving around the whole time…very off-putting 🙄

I feel genuinely empathetic for all the victims of this horrible tragedy, so don't take this the wrong way, but I can't help wondering why the Russian kid hasn't bothered to learn English, considering the fact that he's decided to live in the US for the rest of his life. Of all things to learn from the confusion he apparently experienced, on top of the fear, is that being able to communicate would have served him well! ESL courses are free in every state now, just saying.

17. So far the Prosecutions witnesses seem to be officers that came after the fact, so it is not really plausible to have there opinions. In hindsight anyone would say they would run right in, but in reality none of them even ran right in they all took up positions outside the building until they got organized. No one entered alone.

21. 1. hE LOCKS DOWN THE SCHOOL SINCE THE SCHOOL DAY IS ENDING AND PARENTS ETC WILL BE ARRIVING. hE IS THEN TRYING TO GET THE OFFICE TO RUN THE SECURUTY VIDEO TO LOCATE THE SHOOTER . THE RADIOS DID NOT WORK WELL INSIDE SO IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN GOOD TO GO OFF BY HIMSELF. aT FIRST LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE HE DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE GUNSHOTS. wHEN HE DID HE DIDN;T KNOW WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM. i HADN'T APPRECIATED HOW BIG THE SCHOOL OR BUILDING WAS BEFORE WATCHING THE TRIAL. COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE SHERIFFS OFFICE AND pd WAS BAD. tHIS WAS A PREVIOUS PROBLEM AT A SHOOTING AT THE AIRPORT,

22. His job was to go into the school and try to take out the shooter… instead be was a Coward.

25. It’s pretty obvious they don’t want anyone to watch this trial. They certainly don’t want anyone to hear it. The sound is crap.

28. Ok, I think Peterson was in shock and couldn't act as he was supposed to. He would've probably been killed if he entered the bulding while in that state of mind. I'm curious what the defence theory will be. Imo he's legally guilty, but morally not guilty.

If I’m not mistaken, the last officer testifying said Peterson told him the shooter was somewhere in the parking lot instead of the 1200 building, which caused the officer to change his position he was hiding in, which then left him wide open with his back facing the 1200 building….completely exposed! It’s confusing because you also hear Peterson saying on the recording they play that the shooter is in the 1200 building. 🤷🏾‍♀️ (7:16:00)

    (6:58:40) ~This is the recording where you hear Peterson confirming several times that the shooter is in the 1200 building and that gunfire is coming from that building, although he tells Officer Tim Burton that the shooter is in the parking lot, which again causes the officer to switch his hiding position and exposes the officer’s back to gunfire.
