They're not obsessed with looks. They just know that people are obsessed with beauty, appeal and drama. They say this crap to increase your emotions towards the situation and get more involved. You ever notice how people who complain about it are people who watched like a dozen other videos made by these guys? Exactly!

Lesson. If you separate from your husband/boyfriend do not get back together for the child's sake. It won't work.

The people who contribute to these videos are often immediate family, a person doesn't have to be beautiful on the outside to be beautiful on the inside.
When you speak to someone who is average looking, haven't you seen that the more you talk to them the more beautiful they are.
