I think he use to sexually abuse her . biting her finger nails is a sign of being afraid. He killed her because she was finally going to talk. He should have gotten arrested at least for child endangerment. she is dead. after 20 years she would have been found, she was 11, so she would had have a sense of who she is. Sorry for the mother, some of us unfortunately have poor judgement of me.
