The police are crazy. The lawyer acted exactly right. If I were the injured high school student, I would want her there to help me. The police should take the call from the injured man's father and tell him the next steps.

If she was a bit more wise a little less feeling entitled, this would not have escalated in the way that it did. Most of my attorney associates would not have acted in such a manor. When the officer repetitively asked her to leave as he was conducting his investigation and she was indeed actively obstructing an ongoing investigation, was incredibly unprofessional on her part.
