11. I have this disease as well. It started just in 1 hand and now spread to all my extremities.
    I fall alot.
    It is the worst pain I have ever had.
    CRPS was called RSD when I wss diagnosed 13yrs ago. Mine was caused by a cervical fusion/hardware placement.
    Was hers caused by an injury or ?.
    I was told by my Dr that it is caused by any trauma to the body and ur body is fighting an invader such as my titanium hardware.
    It is progressive and it has no cure if they don't treat it within 6-8wks but of course i was misdiagnosed for 1yr. It even spread to my foot over a broken little toe, so unbelievable.
    Now i have RSD/CRPS in all my extremities.
    I was a critical care nurse for 30yrs. This disease took my life.
    I'm not on Ketamine. Ketamine is a super strong drug but idk Maya's case so I'm only commenting on my own case. I hope Maya is ok.
    I do know this is the worst pain I've ever had.

12. How ironic that the hospital billed the insurance company for CRPS even though they claimed the mother was lying about the diagnosis. That’s just evil!

13. Never use that hospital or ever trust any doctors and nurses from there. This is heart breaking!!!!!!!!!!

16. IMO, Sally Smith was the worst factor in this sad case. She should not have a license to practice medicine.

18. Everything about this case is heartbreaking. The hospital claims they were “protecting a child” yet so many inflicted continuous and increased harm including denying “actual treatment”. Certain individuals seemed more interested in criminalizing the mother than treating the child. The statements in the depositions and the responses on the witness stand were so ridiculously fabricated. It’s unbelievable that in the end they still denied any wrongdoing. Egos and opinions sadly held more power than actual healthcare.
