Watch Live: Antifreeze Murder Trial – WI v. Mark Jensen – Pretrial Hearing

Mark Jensen was charged in 2002 for the 1998 death of his wife Julie Jensen and convicted in 2008. Prosecutors say he poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then smothered her with a pillow when she wasn’t dying fast enough. In 2013 a federal judge overturned that life sentence, arguing a letter Julie had written before her death shouldn’t have been admitted as evidence. In that letter, Julie wrote that she was afraid her husband would try and kill her. Jensen will now face trial for a second time in January 2023.

  1. This all happened the week ‘this side of the family’ was brought in! This is why we are here and some of us don’t really even know any of the details in any manner whatsoever

  2. Come this new trial Julie was murdered 25 years. That was 1998. It took years of court to allow her letter into trial. Trial was 2008. It has taken years to get the letter out of trial, this trial 2023 January. The people who knew Julie knows she did not partake in what the letter says as Mark tried to tell people. Listen to those on his side and listen to those on Julie's side. One side can be collaborated. They can not collaborate together.

  3. The letter not allowed in this trial is exactly why he got this trial. It was in the original trial. Julie accused him of whatever happened to her. It took years to get the letter allowed into the trial. It is the fact that Mark can not face his accuser in court.
