  1. What’s so sad is that people like this poor woman tend to struggle and struggle until/unless they are institutionalized and/or incarcerated, then they tend to thrive. Unfortunately, it’s a double edged sword, because without that same level of support outside of a facility, they will almost always backslide, hence the high rate of recidivism in that demographic. Someone cognizant enough to realize that they don’t have a support system, or the financial resources to pay for one, probably does feel a level of abject desperation that most of us will never feel, and will do anything to return to the system they feel comfortable in, regardless of the consequences. It’s tragic that we can’t do more to set up support for inmates who are reentering society, so they don’t feel they have to resort to bounce back arrests based off hopelessness.

  2. they should be programs that help ppl get back on their feet after prison, make sure they have a safe place go , not just throw them out their and make them mostly to comit more crime just bandaid to the problem

  3. This is so sad ….all she has in the world is a few crappy bits in a carrier bag 😢 no family to care and she has obvious mental health issues. You know It’s bad when you don’t feel you can function unless it’s in an institutional setting ….she should have had more support from her PO on release

  4. I worked in corrections, sometimes when inmates were released cops would pick them up at the end of the driveway and bring them right back in on new charges.

  5. They probably won't even violate her and send her back to Marysville! They don't call it pre-release anymore, but she'll probably end up in Cleveland even though that's not where she wants to go. Her PO should have helped her out!!! I honestly feel bad for her! I wonder what she went to prison for in the first place?

  6. Unfortunately this is how these cities deal with their Mentally Challenged People when they get tired of Dealing with them. They put them on a Bus to the next city. Ive seen it with my own Eyes. SMH

  7. Imagine the beauty of living in America in 1925 and NOT having to live with these mental black patients wandering around sweet, bucolic villages.
Imagine the serenity & peace of mind of just concentrating on your work, your family or your girl as you go about your day with simple thoughts like, "Wow! These new automated electric clothes washing tubs sure are modern".
As opposed to today thinking, "I hope I have enough .45ACP hollow point ammunition on me to go to the grocery store today".
