  1. It's the same story. Told a million times before. It will be told a million more times. We (Americans) haven't demanded significant change in the training of LEOs. It just goes on forever, passed down from one generation to the next.

  2. Will someone PLEASE walk into a police academy and tell them that "investigation of a crime" by itself does not warrant detention or ID. Please, for the love of God!

  3. There needs to be a different higher standard for hiring and training officers . IT seems if you can walk, speak, and drive a car that's good enough . On the job training is NOT good enough . Accountability is rare . How about the LAST thing is put someone in custody . Morons !

  4. It was reaching for his waistband. What was in there.. nothing.

Totally completely made up fabrication to justify tackling the guy.

I believe America is too soft on crime. However, this is not a case of crime.. the only crime here was what the officers did and unfortunately the taxpayers will have to pay for it.

What's even worse is due to government employee labor unions, even if the officers cost the city $100 million, they will get nothing more than a nasty letter in their file…

  5. Never talk to cops, but Americans never learn.

At no time can talking to cops help you. Infact in Miranda they say "whatsoever you say can and will be used against you" if a cop speaks to you shut the eff up! Just put your hands behind your back let them do what they need to do.

  6. I've said it before, but the FDA should classify IDs as a Schedule I drug. Because IDs are clearly an addictive substance for law enforcement.

  7. Two people, on their own property, in good spirits, no visible injury on either, who say they might have been talking loudly before (not in the presence of the officers) but were not arguing and there was no disturbance. Where is the crime?

  8. 6 and 12 hours without pay? So basically 1/2 a day or 1 shift off work for violating civil rights and assaulting a civilian to the point to breaking that person’s bones. Seems fair.

  9. a simple call is in their eyes PC to do whatever they want to you unlawful or criminal arrest . and the cops punishments is so laughable , being 6 hours suspended is really gonna change that pigs misconduct

  10. This is proof that critical thinking is played down if policing. You are not always to think for your self as a cop

  11. One thing not addressed in the video is that he appears to be in the curtilage of the home so RAS or PC wouldn’t even matter. A warrant would be required unless there was exigent circumstances, which there clearly did not exist.

  12. How is it that so many cops get this wrong? Over and over and over and over again. Do none of them know the simplest law they’re enforcing?

  13. The more I see these videos, the more I see fake bravado from these uneducated, highly ignorant officers.

  14. in Finland we finally have bodycams, but the police can decide if they show them to the public or even the court. Few months ago they killed mentally challenged man and faced no consequence, and refused to give the bodycam footage to anyone.

  15. Your thumbnail says "Massive Lawsuit" but the video says nothing about the results of a lawsuit and indeed, says that the victim is still seeking legal representation, making it a long way from any "massive" settlement. For using phony verbiage in your thumbnail, you get an F.

  16. Until they start training these officers properly to stop pushing for ID when they have no legal reason to get it, the taxpayers are going to continue paying out these tremendous lawsuits

  17. They should be sued and fired and jailed, this shit happens everyday and they just keep doing it and then cry and lie and make shit up

  18. Just because you investigate doesn't mean you need ID you did your investigation and you found out there was nothing wrong so he doesn't have to ID dumbass

  19. when are the cops going to stop and realize that they are acting just like the Gestapo? they really need to learn when they cannot demand ID from everybody. they don't learn the law because the taxpayers are the ones that pay for their mistakes.

  20. Black man was wearing shorts and was reaching for his waist where nothing was found after we beat him up, black man committed no crime doesn't need to id
