1. One of the problems is that most officers see everyone as a criminal, so they just can't let something go as an innocent act. And to think the department calls their officers HEROS.

4. When they ask why not just comply tell them because when you sue them they will claim ignorance of the law. Tell them you will provide ID unwillingly if they just state on their bodycam they dont need QI for this.

18. I got arrested illegally 3x by the same cop, never been arrested again. Once i was walking home from a friends house, i lived 3 houses down from the station. He blocked the road with his car, told me hed give me a ride home, and took me into the station and arrested me, after an illegal search. Whats the statute of limitations on filing a lawsuit against these 3 obvious incidents of harassment?

25. It takes a barber 2 years and passing a competency test to become certified to cut hair. It takes a police officer 6 weeks with no certifications to be able to detain and arrest citizens. These idiots arent required to know the laws they are charged with upholding. 32. This is how Auditors and Cop Watchers get created. No attempt was made to de-escalate the situation. Cops immediately escalate. Cops will create a crime if none exists. This citizen DARED to drive thru the cops' territory, so he must be punished.

36. The officers in this situation (as is all too common) don't get an F due to misunderstanding the law, but because they simply DO NOT CARE about the law. They know they can violate rights and usually get away with it, and if they don't, the taxpayers will foot the bill anyway, so it's a "heads I win, tails you lose" situation. Until LEOs start facing regular, severe consequences for their criminal behavior, nothing will change.
