  1. It irks me when I see her name with the headline sole survivor. She's not the sole survivor. There are more of us out there who got away from him. Some of us just don't care to be in the limelight or talk about it.

  2. The happy face killer is brought to you by true crimes daily. True crimes daily, we do our best to glorify an unknown serial killer and we do it with the most ridiculous narrator in the business

  3. Nice work CWD, interview a victim of possible murder and then disgrace her later by using that same interview for another story about her possible arrest and conviction. Pretty disgusting.

  4. Going out on a limb here.
The first puzzle for me is, why on earth would she be out somewhere so late at night, get in a car and head off with a stranger she had a bad feeling about?
    I have two theories.
First one – she was trying to get away from her abusive husband which was why she had her baby with her.
SFK offered her money for sex and suggested they drive somewhere quiet, she agreed cos she was desperate. She probably had no money of her own, (her husband was obviously very controlling) and she would have needed food or diapers for the baby.
After she was nearly murdered she lost courage and went back to the husband.
The other theory is, dear husband was pimping out his wife. The reason he told his wife not to press charges is cos he didn't want the police looking too closely. She said nothing cos she was afraid of her husband. Baby was there either cos the husband couldn't be bothered looking after it or as a pity prop – poor mom needs money to support her baby or as some kind of safety mechanism – the theory being no-one is going to hurt someone in front of their baby.
I may be completely wrong but it just doesn't add up otherwise.
Not throwing shade at the mom, desperate times call for desperate measures.

  5. Everyone is talking about the narrator, but This "one that got away" seems very cold…. Something is off to me or maybe I'm subconsciously judging because I know she went on to stab her boyfriend.
