Polygamist ‘Prophet’ Caught Transporting Underage Girls in Trailer Charged with Child Abuse

Authorities arrested fundamentalist church leader and self-proclaimed “prophet” Samuel Bateman on August 28 in Flagstaff, Arizona. The FBI alleges that Bateman leads a polygamist religious group in the Arizona-Utah area and has at least 20 wives, most of them minors. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said Bateman was arrested after he was found transporting multiple underage girls in a squalid trailer. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie has the details on this story.

  1. These evil people will always go for the weak to manipulate them and form a cult filled with weak minded, gullible, and lost sheeps. It's obvious she is not a believer, just a wolf for their own selfish evil desire.

  2. Take a step back and really look at how this looks. None of it looks right. There’s kids being trafficked across the country probably going to texas literally where the one girl said they raided the other church or whatever you wanna call them. It don’t seem like a church, the reporter said there was like 20 counts of abuse and trafficking from the guy they’re arresting. Why isn’t he being charged with that? Child abuse is probably the smallest thing in this investigation. My opinion🤷‍♂️

  3. Mormonism has nothing to do with Christianity; it’s a polytheistic religion. First of all the Bible says one man, one woman for marriage and it says WOMAN, not child. And it commands husbands to love their wives, abuse isn’t love.

  4. They should've separated the adult women from the kids as it seemed they were coerced into giving answers that they wouldn't give if they weren't standing right there

  5. Ok so does someone have more information ? Bc comments and what we see in video doesn’t match up. They could be some religious weirdos on a trip and really thought there was nothing wrong with it. Like I’m so confused. Are we all just assuming or?? I need to know y’all
