  1. This exchange reveals two very different philosophies of defense work. Both approaches make sense in their own way; it probably comes down to the personal style and mindset of the attorney. It's really fascinating to see how such different strategies can serve the same ultimate goal: a strong defense.

  2. The young brother is well spoken and I'm sure a good lawyer but with all due respect, he needs to stay in his lane. Better yet, get out that pen and paper and start writing down what Dershowitz is talking about.

  3. Assumption of guilt? I don’t think so. I believe that would be unethical and illegal it’s called conspiracy to commit a crime. So you basically work from the Angle that you are assisting your client with getting a way with a crime? Yeah I’m sure they teach you that in law school.

  4. Alan starts by saying lawyers should never say I always do it this way or I never do it that way and then proceeds to say you should always treat your defendant as guilty.

  5. The only defense I can think of based on the evidence is drugs. Drugs could explain a lot of his shady behavior and he can prove he has a history of drugs. What if he was in Moscow to buy or sell drugs? That can explain why he didn’t report his car being in Moscow. Can explain being in that neighborhood which is famous for parties and drugs. There were talks about drug fangs before.
It can explain why he switches his phone on and of and travels around with his car a lot and why he visits Moscow a lot. Bringing a knife or gun to a drug deal is not uncommon from what I understand. If he dropped the knife or if someone stole it from his car if he forgot to bring it with him.
It’s going to be very interesting what his lawyer says to his defense to create doubt with all this evidence.

  6. I hate to break it to you but the dude is likely a mass murderer, not a serial killer. Mass murderers kill multiple people at the same time whereas serial killers kill multiple people over a long period of time. You guys really are quite pathetic and annoying for so-called "professionals"; you tend to take the side of the most left leaning rhetoric in most cases and are extremely biased against defendants that you make no effort to hide your disdain and contempt for.
I'm just surprised you're not openly claiming he isn't Jewish.

  7. 1:12 That’s a pretty human response for a woman 👍🏻. Sure some of it’s initially conditioned but what do you expect from a woman not involved who doesn’t educate herself with criminal insights. She cares.

  8. Defence:Byron was looking for crack, he didn't have enough money for what they had,so he traded his watch, knife and other to get it.. he rushed home to smoke it ..next day he went and got more. Crack dealer owned the knife now.

  9. This is SUCH A PUBLIC CASE, IT will be sooooo hard to find any type of jury for a trial.

And he is intending on pleading not guilty on purpose to make this the longest possible process he can, because he planned this. He plotted this. He is ready to put everyone through the works. He is ready to test all waters. Any volumes. It's almost like he got what he wanted, left the knife thing there, and wanted to test everyone, seeing how fast they could put it together. How fast to find him. It's almost in a way like everyone is following HIS AGENDA….. I know he's in jail after weeks of speculation, but I still feel no better, or any type of relief due to him being how he was.
For some reason I feel like he made a map, and all steps for this like how he intended it would all go…. and he's getting just that, whilst enjoying it….

  10. He should get life in prison. If he get death penalty, that's one shot. He would die. It's like eye to eye. No more sorrows. He should live in prison without possibility of parole. When he come to his senses he will endure pain in his mind. He has to carry his sins until he die. God will punish him different ways. So many times. He should live in vain. No death neither life. His criminals should haunt him in his dreams. He shouldn't have straight mind. But he shouldn't go insane.

  11. I am sorry! But there is so many floors in this case, he may be innocent, the only evidence tying him there, is his dad's dna or possible child of his father! His phone doesn't ping for appx 7miles away!! the car that anyone could of driven, And the housemate that gave a shady profile?!? How did she get his excact height and build and the only face profile, "bushy eyebrows" if she was "shocked" or "stunned"??? but waited over 8hrs to notify the police?? It's very fishy!! I don't trust this one bit!

  12. WHY Does the media give this man alll the notoriety he craved? Every channel …BAM there is his creepy ugly mug
Why not just talk about him if u must and use his initiials WITHOUT his picture ?

  13. I think there will be a big plea for sympathy and compassion citing his longstanding mental health issues, So when all is said and done, he will probably get life without parole. Let's hope that if he does not get the death penalty, he never gets out of jail.
