I dealt with prisoners at times in my old job. They dont seem 2 understand that you dont HAVE personal choices, in anything. You all have 2 follow the rules, whether you like them or not! You are in jail, or remand etc, for a specific reason – cos u didnt follow the rules in the 1st place!!
My Uncle was a hopeless old alcoholic. He caused many probs for himself. His wife left him & later died of a brain tumour. His 2 kids – one died in a care home, & the other one refused to contact him. He died old & lonely, but couldnt see it was his alcoholism that caused all his problems. I dont feel sorry for any drunks – they never take any responsibility for themselves. They only care about themselves
