The mother of a boy who shot his teacher in a Virginia classroom and seriously injured her, is charged with felony child neglect and misdemeanor recklessness. Deja Taylor is accused of leaving a loaded gun in a place where the boy could access it. Abigail Zwerner, the teacher, has sued the district for $40 million. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber breaks down the charges.

Good!!
Good ðŸ™
His yelling "she has a knife, she cut me," sounded so fake. He sounds like he said it purely for the recording. That whole audio sounds twisted and terrifying.
Shooting by proxy.
Also I can't imagine a seasoned teacher allowing a parent to ALWAYS be in the class while they are giving lessons. Talk about stressful, she couldn't of felt comfortable with that arrangement. Not to mention questions from other kids asking why their parents can't be in class with them.
"I will never forget the look on his face before he shot me". She didn't say he looked scared or innocent. You only say that when someone has the look of pure hate or contempt. She is talking about a 6 year old.
More things like this should be held accountable such as bullying at school. Respect is learned from home first in order to respect in public.
FINALLY!!!!!!!
It is unbelievable that a parent will buy a minor a gun, especially one who has mental illness. What do they hope to achieve????
All of these parents are just terrible, especially the story of the oxford school shooting, he begged for his parents to help him and he was ignored by both, truly tragic, the parents deserve life of jailtime
So the mom is going to get a slap on a wrist…. Here son, take this loaded handgun to school for show-and-tell……
Yea at the very least neglect.
LOCK YOUR GUNS UP!!!! ugh.
Excellent!!!
Lmao, this video just sums up America. I will never understand why you guys are happy for tens of thousands of people to be murdered every year, just so you can, well, murder people.
excuse me, 6 ?
You know how a bar/bartender can be charged for serving a drunk person? Why doesn't that kind of logic apply to gun sellers? There should be some onus on them to not sell guns to people not in their right mind or under a certain age. I know that wouldn't have prevented these shootings necessarily, but it's just a thought.
90% of gun violence would end if liberals stopped committing crimes.
what kind of community creates a child like that..oh wait, my bad.
That sob disguised himself as a woman to flee after the shooting this means that he was in control, hooray for these people are being held accountable.
Finally they're taking this seriously.
Parents need to be held more accountable. States should pass bills/laws that would make parents accountable for their children's wrongdoing. Other than crimes, parents need to be held accountable for many other things, like property damage and unaccompanied juveniles. Young teenagers are a big problem at a mall I live near. Their parents let them go their on their own. Children ages 10 and under are prone to getting hurt, shoplifting, or causing damage at stores even while a parent or relative is there.
00:21 I have never seen it described as an acute "learning" disability. They stated only an acute disability. That could be, and very likely is, a behavioral disorder.
Little demon needs prison time now today for at least 15 years-long
A 6 yo with a gun? The US is such a fun place. At this point, if the animals over there start shooting tomorrow, i wouldn't be surprised.
Next the Crumbleys or whatever they are called.
Is that mother going to pay for all that teachers medical bills and drive her to many more years of doctor appointments and potential surgeries?
Left a loaded gun out where her psycho kid could plan a murder.
All these parents charged!! FINALLY!!
If the news reporters would just stop saying the names and showing the faces of the mass shooters it might help prevent this from happening. Stop giving them fame and notoriety! This is what many of them crave.
It took long enough!
It seems that the child has a behavioral problem/ disability, as well as any learning disability. He learned pretty well how to take a gun to school, hide it, and shoot the gun.
I'm wondering if the mom of the 6 year old may have had a grudge against the teacher and sent her son to school with a loaded gun
You show all the guilty parents , but no picture of Deja Taylor? Hmmmmm
About time holding these parents are being held accountable.
It’s about time the parents feel the heat.
All of the 6 year old kids that I know of are scared of guns
I wonder how the law and the education system are going to protect his future teachers?
GOOD finally
