15. I had something similar,but not as bad, happen last year when I tried renewing my CCL in TX. In 1976 I was taken to jail for disorderly conduct. Never had to go to court, etc. No notices, paperwork. Nothing. 49 years later TX DPS DENIED my renewal saying I neglected to tell them about this incident. Say what?! Because of different jobs, pistol purchases, 4 training classes, state correctional officer, county jail officer, moving violations, and 2 CC license renewals, I have had at the least 30 background checks. Why did the state never find that arrest? They blamed me for not telling THEM about it! Does that sound like something government would do? Our County attorney said he had seen someone else have a similar issue. We believe the state or some one, maybe AI, or a new computer system, was cleaning up the files. The county and city records said nothing was found on me. NOTHING. So how did the state of Tx pull that up 49 years later. It was embarrassing because I work for the County. They all know me. That was the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me!

27. Love your channel! I have worked in law enforcement for over 27 years and have been a detective for 25. All officers should review this information to understand what to look for from both the suspects' and the victims' perspectives in their cases. I always treat all my cases as if the suspect or victim were a family member and ask myself, "How would I want them to be treated in this situation?" In law enforcement, it is our duty to ensure that even if someone is considered a suspect, they still have certain rights or explanations for what occurred during the investigation. Most of the time, an investigator's job is just verifying facts in the case. If the suspect has information proving their innocence, you'd better follow up on that information, and most of the time, when they're telling you something, they're not lying about it, and it's easily provable. Law enforcement, in my opinion, is too quick to react to a situation without at least investigating the incident on both sides. Law enforcement uses Linx as an investigative tool, which shows us everything. But it states in big, bold letters that this is just an investigative tool and is not usable in court documents. Then, with that information, you contact the appropriate agency directly and verify everything. It has everything: the agency name, phone number, and who to contact. It's pretty easy stuff. I'm shocked the judge signed the arrest warrant. I'm very curious to see what the detective wrote in it. Maybe a Franks hearing is needed in this case?

    Cops are thugs with a badge and a gun! Many of them are complete psychopaths!
