  1. “When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth". — Sherlock nailed it. May have been fiction but it's common sense.

  2. I don’t give a sh.. about paul and Maggie personally, who I truly want justice for is Stephen and Gloria. Just being honest…..when that is said. I hope he gets life without parole, and that Buster is arrested for the murder of Stephen and for helping his father in all of this….

  3. I know this seems like a rather easy guilty verdict, but please keep in mind that this is South Carolina, Murdach has the best attorneys (and sneakiest) that money can buy, and the jury is already obviously fatigued, have no notes on five weeks of testimony to refer to, and probably just want to put some closure on this and move on.

  4. May be tedious, but it’s a necessary and obligatory practice that happens in some form in most closings from both sides. It’s in each parties best interest to be sure the jury understands ALL the factors that should go into reaching their verdict. And along way really highlight the factors they feel are most beneficial to their case.

  5. Seems Paul had guns hidden all over the place so if strangers were in the woods or the area the dogs would have reacted and warned them and Paul would have grabbed a gun to defend his mother and himself.

  6. Watching the state's closing. Not a single tear or sorrowful emotion displayed. He's defo mad at the ADA, but his baseline is totally different. Almost reminiscent of his times in the cop car

  7. IMHO It’s always beneficial to re-learn these definitions, precisely. That’s how they were written into law, and the parameters on which the jury decides.

  8. nobody would kill their own child. especially if they had all this money and connections. he would hire some latino from central america and pay him 5 grand and send the guy back to hondorus. a.m. did not kill his son or his wife
