    The people responsible for this should be imprisoned themselves. Schildren should not be sentenced to life without parole. How will you punish really terrible people then? Burn them at the stake?

    She is absolutely amazing in every aspect of the word. I can't think of anything else to say except when she said the first time she was molested that it felt like her soul was murdered is heartbreaking. I usually do not use that word when it comes to these stories. But this one was it. I hope that she continues fighting and leaves a legacy that is as big as her heart.

    This is one lady l would love to meet. To honour those women who 'brought her up' in prison and not forget them is a testament to this woman and her character.     Bless her heart. When she was crying in the video saying she should be punished for what she did, but she doesn’t deserve Any prison at all, she deserves a Medal for getting rid of the Scum bag who ruined her childhood, etc.

    She was treated this way cause she was Black. The court and attorney’s did not care that she was young nor Abused. Even after all that, they should have paid her for not protecting her from a monster. She did the jobs every adult could not do. Yet she went to jail. Thank Yah she freed herself by killing him. Meeting good women in jail and becoming who she is.

    This poor women had her whole childhood taken from her by one of the worse ways and she gets her freedom taken away over killing the monster that did it to her!!! Now if she would of told he might of gotten life in prison and then she would still suffer by knowing he is out there if he didn’t have someone kill her for telling on him!!! Our system is so messed up so this is just teaching girls to suffer being raped cause if you kill the person that is raping you you will be the one punished!! Well I rather serve a lifetime in prison for killing a person that was raping me so that know one else has to go through what I did!! Her record should be whipped clean and they should pay her for the rest of her life. I know it can’t give back her time but at least she can have a good future with no worries of bills. That’s at least the right thing to do!!! God kept his hands over her when she went to prison because if that person would of not done that interview she would of still been in prison!! Her mother should of went to jail for child abuse too. I’m just happy she has made peace with her life and is trying to help others she is a selfless person and a blessing. I wish I could just hug her.

    How come the lawyer, prosecutor and judge didnt know juveniles who were abused are eligible for a lesser sentence? Even I could have figured that out and I have no legal training, but I have read many many books on juveniles in the justice system.

    This case is so confusing and frustrating! So a man can rape and if a child snaps and kills you that means she’s a murderer? No bitch ass judicial system that makes a person a GOD DAMN SURVIVOR!!!!
