UPDATE: Since I live in Antioch I thought I would give an update. Today, April 12, 2022 Melodie will appear in court since she plead guilty to taking money from the explorers program, which of course is embezzlement! She goes to court today to find out if she'll get either probation or have to serve actual jail time. I personally hope she gets thrown into the slammer for what her and her husband put our community through!

First off, while he was a thief, drunk, druggie, and probably killed himself. He still helped a lot of kids. He wasn't all bad. He did more good than most of us will ever dream of doing, and probably more bad too. The only possible unforgivable would be a sex crime, and while he definitely has made advancements in women he worked with, I don't believe he ever raped or forced himself in anyway on anyone. He was just a man who couldn't live up to his own legend.

I live in Fox Lake, IL. I attended the mournful memorial service by the lake. I cried for the family and the town. Now, I am sorry I attended. He left her holding the bag!
