  1. It actually was really good. Unfortunately not alot of people saw it I guess. But anything based on a true story I tend to like. And the fact the FBI…. did this to a kid is unbelievable. 30 years he served for a.non violent crime. Murders, pedophiles, rapist get less and walk.

  2. Answer
Mostly because of Chris Hansen’s bs reporting. I refused to even watch this documentary for weeks because Chris was shown in the trailer, so I mistakenly thought he was involved in the production, because Hansen’s record is actually poor, it may not be mainstream knowledge, but it is out there for everyone to know if you search for it. So I take no stock in anything Hansen says. But to my surprise the documentary paints a spotlight on Chris (amongst other journalists) overhyped, sensationalist, fake reporting, surprised pikachu face. But to hear Chris tell it, his reporting was told to him by cops, so that’s all the vetting he needed to do, so it’s not Chris’ fault, he sleeps fine. I bet Chris does.

Seems to be a recurring pattern for Chris. Just look at his handling of the Onision victims, previously, where his TV show went, and this documentary. While it seems to go easy on him, it still in fact implies that his unvetted reporting of info from corrupt cops is what’s kept WhiteBoy Rick in prison for so long, coupled with powerful corrupts writing letters to the parole board. Still, the conviction got him there. No reporting, maybe no conviction. Definitely not a over 20 year sentence.

But hey, it made for such a cool story right Chris? I know you read all your negative press, make sure you block me on Twitter too. Just too bad he had to spend so long in jail, or rather, to bad you get yet another thing for people to hold over your head.
