  1. Here from the podcast. For those who don’t know, a lot has changed since this was posted. Melissa has recanted her eye witness accusation of Rodney. The governor of Missouri commuted Rodney’s sentence to time served and he has since been released. They are still not sure who killed Joann and harmed the girls but with DNA found in the hair sample not matching Rodney and with Melissa recanting—it seems highly unlikely it was Rodney. Rodney and Melissa have since reconciled and become very close since he has been out of prison. He now considers her his 3rd daughter.

  2. He seemed believable and it always seems like if their wrong and put the wrong person behind bars they don’t want to admit it so they don’t hardly do any more investigation.

  3. Unfortunately, the deceased woman liked to pick up men for sex and write about it in her diary. She contributed to her own death but damn her to Hell, she dragged her kids around with her while she played prostitute without pay. You can say her selfishness destroyed two innocent little children's lives. I don't feel bad for Rodney because he killed a man anyway. I don't feel bad for the real killer, because he was executed anyway. But those 2 innocent little girls? I am horrified, sickened, and traumatized for them

  4. This story is one of the most aweful stories that I have come across!
Stories such as these are for told in fictional horror stories or movies!

But somehow I feel by the amount of emotion by Mr. Rodney Lincoln after answering each of the telling questions, that he seems very forthcoming about his answers!

But look! He spent 3 decades in Prison, his whole life is based on 3 walls, 1 steel door and one matres! And a sink&toilet! He really hasn't much to live for!

I really do believe that Rodney is speaking the truth, specially when he sincerely expresses that he couldn't harm a child! "At that point that really choked me! I felt so sorry for him" I really hope that they follow this case, and compare the finger prints that match the actual killer who was executed the year before!

If it turns out that Rodney was innocently convicted for crimes that he did not commit, then he should be allowed to make his peace with the daughter who was remaining survivor of the victims!
Plus Rodney's was deprived of his life, because the 1st murder he had paid his time for!

If there is a strong chance that he was innocent, then the justice department must put every effort to get the final results!!

I really hope that they both find peace at the end of all of this!!

Tragic story of misdeception and identify! 🇬🇧😇🙏

  5. Such a tragic time for 2 little girls to have their innocence stolen one night and to have police making the situation so much worse by hounding for a name or something to arrest the person involved.
This seven yrs old girl said a name so they would live because she was tired and worse had been through a massive trauma that adults would struggle with remembering. Once again the cops are truly lazy and become judge and jury, only when cops are held accountable for their actions will they finally be more diligent with charging the criminals.
The victims that experienced the torture are dragged back to that day again and the victims that have years stolen from them because cops are not accountable at all and receive millions from their lost memories that they never experienced.
The human that lives life and free to kill more humans and more innocent people go to jail, all because of the pathetic cops and justice system.

  6. I dont think he did it. Melissas wrong, she was under tremendous pressure and stress at 7 yrs old it would be easy for cops to have been manipulated. Poor child to have survived that herendous act that thier are no words… Either way they were all wronged victims of the cops…

  7. I believe Tommy Lynn Sells killed Darlie Routier's children and tried to kill her ( in the middle of the night ) by cutting her throat with one of her own knives .

  8. So what if Sells was executed.
They certainly have his prints on file as he was in prison forever!
Why couldn't they have compared his prints to the ones found on the knife?
    I don't get it. smh

  9. Have they retested all the stuff in the house? If he stabbed the likelihood there is the killers blood and other body fluids on the mattresses, bedding, clothing etc or did the police not catalog &keep that evidence?

  10. EARTH ANGEL😇. SO why aren’t they QUICKLY comparing the fingerprint to Tommy Lee Sells’?????!!!😳🤔 MAYBE the daughter did make a mistake and now is too afraid 😱 to admit it????!!!!!😳🙀. THESE things DO happen; I mean she just a 7year old child 🧒😧😥
