Mark Jensen was charged in 2002 for the 1998 death of his wife Julie Jensen and convicted in 2008. Prosecutors say he poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then smothered her with a pillow when she wasn’t dying fast enough. In 2013 a federal judge overturned that life sentence, arguing a letter Julie had written before her death shouldn’t have been admitted as evidence. In that letter, Julie wrote that she was afraid her husband would try and kill her. Jensen will now face trial for a second time in January 2023.

Boy does this evil disgusting excuse for a human have a face made for a fist 👊🏽 I’m so relieved the judge saw through his BS statement. He never once apologized for his actions, never once mentioned Julie’s name. Bye bye Marky, time to go under the jail 👋🏽

Any argument that this POS should have the opportunity to be there for his children in the future is BS, quite the opposite. Even though his boys are now adults, as members of the public, those boys need to be protected from any hint of further contamination by this manipulative piece of garbage. Good and fair call Judge.

Well he put up pictures big whoop he did erase their mother. He wouldn't have had to do all that if their father had not killed her. Good judgement call no parole. Judge knows anyone that goes to those lengths that he did to torture then kill his wife is a danger to the public.

Jensen managed to even manipulate his own attorneys to actually believe he was a halfway decent man which he is not.

To think that if these defense attorneys had their way, Jensen could be set free and be able to do another vengeful act and harm someone. Absolutely unbelievable how they tried to shield him from the punishment he deserves. Lock him up and throw away the key.

What the families need is the truth n start with sorry. No accountability! The pain they have is because of him. It’s all because of him. He denies it. How can the boys trust him. No trust no relationship. He isn’t honest with them then he doesn’t love them enough to tell them the truth.

Oh ya he helped them get help, supported them n released balloons in their mothers memory. They would not have needed that if he had not killed her. They would have memories with her. How can they trust anyone in life? Their dad lied to them. They barely had their moms side in their life. Imagine thinking your mom didn’t love you enough to stay n care for you? All your life thinking this n then finding out it was all a lie? Who wants support from a dad like that? Only reason he had no crimes is because non was caught. Harassment for years, poisoning 2 times…. On and on.

Thanks to the judge and prosecutor for doing an amazing job to bring this monster to justice, I know Julie's sons and family will never get full closure and that is the hardest thing about this, the fact it was totally senseless and robbed two small boys of their beautiful mother, he never once thought about his sons and their love for their adoring mum, rest in peace Julie xx

Smh, this dude destroyed so much. He's not remorseful, and still is MANIPULATIVE especially to his son's. I love & respect this JUDGE, he definitely gave a voice to JULIE. Her brothers seems like wonderful men who loved her dearly. Hopefully one day her son's will see that and gain a relationship with them 🙏🏿!!!

Many men have mvrdered their wives and they're all horrible but Mark Jensen is one of the biggest monsters of them all. I'm glad I'm already married because I'd be too wary of ever doing it again.

Not once did he mention Julie and the damaged he’s done it’s all about him and him wanting to be with his kids should’ve never killed her and you would’ve watch them grow
