REMINDER: The Judge is not allowing live streaming of this trial. L&C will be streaming this on a one-day delay.

Famed sex therapist Amie Harwick was found outside of her Hollywood Hills home struggling to hold onto life after allegedly being thrown off of a third-story balcony in 2020. Harwick died at a hospital shortly after the fall from blunt force injuries to her head and torso, along with evidence of strangulation. Authorities quickly zeroed in on her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, who had previous restraining orders filed against him by Harwick and was described as a “stalker” by many of the doctor’s friends. Pursehouse now faces trial in a California courtroom for Harwick’s murder.
Pursehouse’s defense said the defendant admitted to breaking into Harwick’s home but did not murder her. They are seeking a not guilty verdict on the murder charge and asking for a lesser charge.

  1. His concerns about his jokes are the only thing funny, considering he was a failure as any type of comedian. Check out his dismal performance on Kill Tony in January of 2020. His actions were definitely a culmination of his obsession with Amie + his resentment that she was actually successful while he was a complete narcissistic loser who couldn't control his emotions.

  2. Wow…..during most of this trial so far, hes done nothing but look down at the table hes at…..but i noticed the whole testimony about the nicotine & now, the layout of Amie's home, he is 100% attentive……totally. makes we wonder why!!?? What is worried about, or thinking i wonder. Interesting. This behavior speaks volumes in my opinion. Hmmmmm

  3. If i called a friend in jail with these charges, the very first thing i would ask is what happened and how were you involved. These guys didnt even inquire. Crazy.

  4. State spent a whole lot of taxpayer's money on this trial (including 3D model) on this narcissistic clown. He paid attention to the $68,000 price tag. The defense examination is like taking a class, a series of complex definitions.

The background questions take up too much time, finally they get how all this pertains to GP and his case. All the time spent on why isn't the awning to scale? I get that background is needed, but by the time they get through all that, I've forgotten all those definitions when they get to the specifics of GP defense questions.

  5. It's pretty funny to hear him say jail is a good place to be if you want to be in shape, and then to see him now. I guess it's not working out too well! Lol

  6. Gareth knew that there was no video footage because he probably hacked into Amie's wifi and shut off the signal. He just needed a keylogger to do it. He could have done that from his car before entering the house. It's easy if you know how to do it. And he was familiar with her and her habits. He could probably easily guess her passwords. So, the cameras going offline shortly before the prosecution alleges that GP entered the house makes sense. It really seems like Amie had everything going against her that night. Michael Herman intervening when she first started screaming might have been her only hope. Either that or Michael investigating the noise he heard when Pursehouse broke in. Maybe Michael would have stumbled upon him and scared him off or have been able to call the police.

  7. I know the courtroom and the judge. My brother was a deputy LA DA and has worked with the judge many times. I was raised (spent much time in those LA courtrooms growing up)I remember that courtroom… my father was a Los Angeles superior court judge in Los Angeles. It brings back many memories when watching this trial.

  8. Im just watching the friends talking to him in jail i have a couple different thoughts from the comments is he talking to the friends in code to get rid of everything in garage without saying it and are the friends trying to get him to say he did it for the police they all know its being recorded at one point the friends were surprised he could see them because at one point when he talked about the book the guy looked at the other guy as if to say is he serious than a bit later on thats when they were surprised he could see them i could be wrong as im still catching up 🇬🇧

  9. I notice Gareth and the male counsel to his right never interact. They basically ignore each other. He interacts quite often with the female counsel to his left. Anyone else notice this?

  10. To hear how they hard they worked, trying everything possible to save her life is overwhelming. So sorry for all who loved her. 💔Hope this defendant spends the rest of his life in prison. 🙏🙏

  11. Really!! You can’t tell us which finger the DNA came from😮 who cares. His DNA was under her nails. Tell us miss defence lawyer you don’t have anything without telling us you don’t have anything

  12. For real I respect all defence attorneys but this team for this peace of garbage is doing a “great” job 😂 talking and talking and saying or explaining nothing! Creating more rage in the jurors with this narrative 🤦‍♀️
