  1. They did this with me, an elaborate story, how they had my brother, he was in a car accident and my brother owed them money because my brother hit their car, I almost got fooled until they said my brothers car, umm yeah my brother doesn't drive, he's a little slow and does not have a car, he uses a bike. Such idiots.

  2. one time one of those people called while i was at lunch in middle school, and called ME.
    i was like, "hi?"
they said, "i have your 14 year old daughter."
i was like, "i'm freaking 13. how do i have a 14-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER?!" then i hung up.

  3. i'm so sorry for the second victim because when we find ourselves in situation like this some of us will do just like the second victim did.but am glad they speak about the situation now we can be aware of the people who behind the scam.

  4. This happens a lot with stolen phones. Never put contacts on your phone that look like family. no "dad" or "mom" or anything like that. someone finds your phone, they'll call your family member and (possibly from your phone) . It's an easy virtual kidnapping.
