In October of 2024, Monroe County (Florida) Deputy Jonathon Lane pulled over a dad/husband who was hauling a boat too slowly. The driver had previously suffered from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Deputy Lane immediately escalated the situation to a felony arrest of the driver, afterwards lecturing the man’s wife about his integrity and the importance of following the law. But as it turns out, Deputy Jonathon Lane has a “confidential” past that exposes his own law-breaking, as well as his department’s apparent coverup of that law-breaking. As promised, here’s the footage of Deputy Lane’s arrest, which is shocking in light of the fact that he ended up getting the case dismissed and subsequently listed in records as “confidential.”

Look How careful they are Not to violate a cops rights and how clear they become of what violates rights. Yet they do it to citizens Everyday and the courts give them qualified Immunity as long as they pretend it was a mistake or they didn't realize it and were JUST DOING THEIR JOB.

Just to be clear EVERYONE not a cop who wants a lawyer before a breathalyzer the police immediately send DMV a refusal notice resulting in 6 month suspension regardless if they are innocent of the DUI. If they had done this to him he wouldn't have had a license when he unlawfully Arrested a Brain Damaged man. So that is a direct result of Rick Ramsey getting involved and Helping John Lane cover all this up.
Cops judges and da are all about law and order until it comes to one of them.

I don't understand the '20 minute observation' before the breathe test. He should have just started the 'blow' test… Wtf? This cop got so many breaks. A regular citizen would have been in a jail cell and had his car towed. Fantastic that you got the videos and reports.

This cop should of lost his license as per the state law just for refusing. The refusing doesn't matter what the court decided to charge him. What happens inside of a court room doesn't matter, that decision it is separate regarding his license. The only way that the state DMV did revoke his driver's license is that the police, prosecutor, or a high state agency removed or did not send in the record of the cop refusing the breathe test. This guy had no remorse, he blamed everyone else and they still covered his worthless ass. He even tried to use seizures he had no care, treated the brain injured fireman like crap, lied through the encounter, and didnt give him any sympathy or thought about his injury. The cop has seizures should not be driving, should not have a weapon. He is altered, behind the steering wheel, seat belted in, with a weapon next to him, is so altered he doesn't respond to the cops trying to wake him up. He should not get to save his job, his license, and get away with all this stuff since a normal civilian doesn't get any of these privileges and it doesn't matter what tricks they play civilians still have to jump through hoops. Most of the times cops make sure they go out of their way to talk crap to a person's employer to make them lose their jobs.
With this being sealed this sure looks like a drug &/ alcohol issue that he 1 was able to play the cant fire me if I admit I have a problem just send me to rehab, 2 convinced higher ups he such a good cop which he is not he has no respect for his fellow officers putting them through all that and then talking crap about them, to them. Why was there no blood work done?
Whoever is sealing these cops.records and getting them off on the crimes the commit needs to be ashamed of themselves and should themselves be fired kicked off the bench and definitely not re-elected. What prosecutor and Judges are the ones signing off on these cops not get charged, and sealing records? Think public needs to know what officials are doing it and how many times they do it for cops that broke the laws. Plus compare their punishments with a normal civilian with same crimes. Cops that break laws on or off duty are supposed to be held at a higher standard and this BS of letting them get away with charges, being fired, seal their records needs to stop. That is how they get to go to the next town and get a job because without being fired or records unsealed the new department has no clue what they are getting. Right their shows that a captain, prosecutor, Judge, or agency doesn't give a crap about the safety of their other cops, their citizens, their fellow agencies or next door neighbors when they cover up for horrible cops and allow them to buse, harm, un alive, break laws, poison the other cops making them be more protective over a criminal cop than their citizens or good cops.
The cop that kept saying whatever you want whatever making things easier for you and I dont want to do this. Shame on that cop because a civilian whom isn't a fellow cop asleep in his car with no weapon next to him whom cannot stand tight spaces wouldnt of gotten the sympathy hell if the guy scratched his face on the cop mirror the cop would of wrote him up for altering police property. Maybe if they treated half of the civilians without screaming throwing them down handicuffing right away etc maybe the civilians would be calmer.
