  1. Would have been super-duper for this channel to grant us the date that this happened. I had to go looking for it. This was in Feb. 2007 and as far as I could find, he has never been found or anyone charged, despite other documentaries highlighting the case on top of police investigations.
I feel like he never left that shop. Was still there when it went up in flames. It was a big place with lots of hiding places that the co-owner would have known about and had private access to. It's too bad the cops did not search that place thoroughly as soon as he went missing. They gave his murderer another 12 days to cover it up. I doubt they'll ever find him now. Unless there is a confession or something new directly from the murderer, I can't see how it could be resolved. Miserable situation.

  2. And what does this prove? If you do something evil, and you can take the heat, you lawyer up and don't talk to the cops. They might know you did something, but they need to be able to prove it. You don't interview, you don't confess, you don't crumble like the perp does in every cop show. We all know the business partner did it it. Maybe the ex-wife was involved, but we can't prove any of it. He skates away free. Hopefully, with the forensics we have now, the cops could prove something if this kind of thing was repeated.

  3. I go by this intersection often. I live fairly close by. I always think of this guy being missing, and how nothing has ever been found. All suspicious activities. So sad.
