The brother has her same eyes. They were probably close because they could look at each other and see themselves.
OMG the way her poor mom learned the news that she was murdered is just horrible. I pray her parents and her brother, and all those who grieve Amie, find peace and comfort. Justice was served with this monster.
How long did they date? I haven't followed this case, so I don't know.

I think 🤔 he had an idea about her job and used his job as an excuse for stumbling upon her.
Amie modeled her way through school, I photographed her many times. She was one of the hardest working people I've ever known, always happy, very creative, and absolutely beautiful. She told me about Gareth back when she was dating him nine years ago. He was abusive, threw her out of a car one time as I recall. She didn't stay, she separated from him and got the restraining order, but he would still try to contact her. When I found out she had been murdered, I knew it was him. This is so tragic. She did nothing to deserve this.

If he didn't intend to kill her he wouldn't have brought a lethal syringe with him, broken into her house only to lie in wait for her and attack her. What other possible motive could there have been?

Sending the Harwick family lots of love. Hes been found guilty and the jury got it 100% right. He's going away for life. Im happy about that. I hope it helps them in the healing process that never ends. 😢

You know when you feel a person has so much to offer the world and so much vigor for being alive? That’s how I perceive Amie. I think it’s also why I am so heartbroken over this case. She shouldn’t have died. She built her life to be in service of others and to spread useful information and awareness. I feel so terribly for her brother and their parents. I pray that they heal and I pray that Amie gets the Justice she deserves.
Even celebrities are stalked….why is this so common that a lay person can't get protection? Bodyguard? Guns? So sad that Amie couldn't protect herself from this monster! RIP Amie 😔😭💔💔💔💔💔💔 my heart goes out to her brother and family, stay strong somehow please. God will eventually punish this POS, believe it!

As for the defense, what does it matter if Gareth intended to murder her? He did murder her and that's all that matters to me! This was no accident. He chose to strangle her and push her off her balcony. In those moments he intended to harm her gravely.

My heart breaks to for the loss of such a beautiful woman. Her beauty and kindness is conveyed through her smile and wonderful tributes from her loved ones. It is such a great loss for the world to lose such an amazing, kind, successful and happy person.
It makes me so mad that a person (monster) felt he had the right to take her away from the world and her wonderful life away from her.
I believe they were broken up and hadn’t seen each other for around ten years! He is obviously a narcissistic, evil and a selfish “man”. He was nothing like she was and she was nothing like he was. I hope he is sentenced to the highest extent of the law and never leaves prison until he is removed in a box!
I am so sorry to Dr. Amy’s family, friends, patients, and everyone that loves her. Fly high sweet angel, you are at peace and do not have to be in fear anymore.

I agree i am from the same hometown as amie and my husband died tragically and the police also stayed with me and contacted me throughout the week to make sure i was ok and had any resources me, my kids, and our family needed . I will forever be thankful for that .
